Love how car handles. The HRV is wonderful on traveling bc I have arthritis and it was a pleasure to drive on long trips. It’s smooth riding and an attractive car. It is easier to get into than the CRV bc I am short (5’2) so I had to climb up into CRV but not HRV.

Very nice people who provide very nice service. I liked their coffee, and the wait time is low. They washed the car and changed the oil and filters, and now the car runs smoothly.

I love the look of this body style, unfortunately they changed they body style so next time I buy a car it won’t be the HR-V with backseat handle that make the vehicle look like a sedan.

Andre the Sales manager was extremely helpful with the options and buying process. Mike in financing finished the process and was just as smooth as Ramon & Andre. My experience at Schaumburg Honda was fantastic! The salesperson, Spencer, was incredibly helpful. I informed her that I was looking to purchase a vehicle for my kids. She provided me with a lot of information and guidance throughout the process, ensuring that I made an informed decision about buying a quality used vehicle. Spencer was transparent and didn’t have any hidden agendas. She also provided upfront pricing, and allowed me to speak with the mechanic. The mechanic thoroughly inspected the car, and I felt comfortable knowing that I was in good hands. I appreciated the care and concern Spencer showed for my family and would definitely recommend Schaumburg Honda to anyone looking for a reliable new or used vehicle.

Negotiated a price, set appointment to come back next night buy. The next day a little research on my negotiated price, discovered Costco auto buying program, started the Costco process about 3p, walked in at 5p to purchase, they honored the Costco price with no haggling and dropped price $2,700.00
2023 Honda HR-V review
This small SUV gives a lot of bang for the buck. For my driving this car has plenty of power. I don't know whether the others who say it is under powered are trying to run in the Indy 500 or what, but for every day driving as well as on the interstate it has more than enough power. The only negative for me is I got the LX model and it is not satellite radio compatible. This is for one purpose and that is to get the customer to spend more to get the more expensive model. If I were Sirius I would tell auto makers that they either offer satellite radio in all models or they don't get it for any of their models. The HR-V gets great gas milage and has a ton of safety features. I love the HR-V!

2016 Honda HR-V review
Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

CarMax Schaumburg review
Yesterday I purchased a car by phone for the first time. As a senior citizen I sold my car on the 9th of March thinking I would get totally travel by taxi or Uber or Lyft but I under estimated the value of getting up and going when you like. The team at CarMax from beginning to directions to the highway were the very best. Each and every member made me feel valued as a customer. And feel like they were treating me like they would their family members. You could not ask for more than that. Bj

Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

Amazing Service one would expect when purchasing a vehicle including the amazing service department. It’s one thing to be happy with the vehicle you purchased let alone liking the salesperson involved, however what truly sets this dealership apart is its continued level of service that continues after the purchase, particularly from the Service Department. The Service Manager, Ron is truly polite and helpful and when it comes to customer service and satisfaction Jorge Quevedo is the man. This is definitely not your typical service department nor dealership as there level of quality of service separates them apart from any dealership and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle!

CarMax Des Moines review
I thoroughly enjoy being able to walk into a car dealership to just look around and sit in vehicles, without being chased around the parking lot by a salesman! That is Carmax. You can go in, walk right out to the cars and browse, and all of them are open, have stickers with pricing and details, and you can get a feel for them without being bothered; no hassle, no haggling. I have purchased one car though them and was happy with the test drive, the buying process and the car has been great. Thanks Carmax!
2021 Honda HR-V review
This is a perfect car for me (80 yrs old, 5’1”) it is easy to get in and out, and I sit far enough from the steering wheel so I can drive with my arms in a much more comfortable position than in my 2009 Honda Civic I had before

I had reservations initially, but am very pleased with my purchase. This vehicle has a few more additions than my previous HRV. I like the added features that are standard on this model.

Berman Nissan of Chicago review
I took my Versa in for the Basic 10,000 miles service (oil change, tire rotation, etc.)early morning. I left the car there & I would pick it up later after the Sox game. They suggested a transmission fluid exchange so I approved it. You can just click & sign it on the phone so it was easy to do. After the Sox beat Cleveland, I went over there & they accepted the coupon but then they add the 3% charge for using a credit card! It ate into the coupon's "savings". That was the only part I didn't like about my experience. The car was clean, washed, & ready. The customer service rep was professional & quick so I didn't have to wait too long.

I was just in for service today for my 2025 pilot my 2 nd oil change only even though I have visited the service dept a few times before Anthony is usually my go to guy. today Anthony wasn't there I had the pleasure to have Alonzo Carrillo what a great young man I let him know what I was in for He explained everything to me about my codes and what I would need today Very Knowledgeable did not try to push other services on me like most other service departments would ( I came from Hyundai the worst service dept ever in my 70 years of living) it's such a pleasure coming to your service department You should be proud of the job Alonzo and Anthony are doing their. Alonzo went above and beyond today helping me And I want him to be. acknowledge for such a wonderful job he did. I'm a retired police officer and a Vietnam veteran and it was a pleasure dealing with him today. I also had the 10% off coupon from the coupon book I received when I bought my car. He made sure to give me the discount and told me to hold onto the coupon for next time. THANK YOU ALONZO you know how to treat a customer and to keep them coming back.I sent another friend over to your service department from new Lennox. He wasn't happy with his service department. He was using in Joliet. He has been coming now to Valley for his service . please let Alonzo how great of a job he's doing Even though Anthony is my go to guy Alonzo is right there with him

Was referred to Bill Tsonis by a friend of my mom's and bought a new HRV for her. Very good experience, up front with pricing and very friendly. They even gave us the lifetime warranty for free, I think its only at Gerald stores not other Honda dealers. Will definitely be back when it's time for a new Pilot for me. Kudos!

2023 Honda HR-V review
What a great car! I was originally going to get a CR-V but realized I did not really need that much room so I decided to drop down to an HR-V but then get the highest trim level with all the bells and whistles. So now I have all the great comfort and sensors and top infotainment and still paying less than the CR-V. The drive is very smooth and easy to handle. The only "issue" is that it does not accelerate from a stop very quickly but then again I did not buy this to have a race car. And I just need to get used to this being a bigger car than my previous Fit so the gas mileage is not that great. Anyway, If you are looking for the small end of an SUV, this is definitely a car you should focus on.

McGrath Honda of St. CharlesReviews
McGrath Honda of St. Charles review
McGrath Honda has been part of our family’s story since 2013, when we moved to the area with our 2011 Odyssey. Over the years, they’ve earned our trust, so when it was time to upgrade to a 2023 Odyssey, we didn’t think twice about returning. This year brought an unexpected financial setback, and we had to make the tough decision to sell our 2023 Odyssey. Jason and Rene treated us with compassion and patience, offering a buy‑back price that genuinely helped us through a difficult moment. We still needed a vehicle, so we chose a certified 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Giovanni guided us through several test drives without rushing us, and the used car manager, Aldo, made sure we got a fair deal. The finance team—Muhammed and Bryan—was just as supportive. They understood how important it was for us to receive our refund quickly, and although they estimated a couple of weeks, the check arrived in only three days! McGrath Honda didn’t just sell us cars—they supported us when we needed it most. No games, no pressure, just honesty and respect. Because of them, we were able to get through a financial hurdle while still driving a dependable vehicle. We’ll continue going to McGrath for anything Honda‑related. They’ve earned our loyalty many times over.

Wilde HondaReviews
Wilde Honda review
Dear James O'Brien and James Reifenrath, I want to give a huge thank‑you to the entire team at Wilde Honda for providing exceptional service during both of our recent vehicle purchases. Every staff member we worked with treated us with professionalism, kindness, and genuine respect. Temuulen Iderzul went above and beyond -- truly giving 110% -- to make sure we were taken care of. Tyler Zane made sure every step of the process was handled properly so we felt confident in our purchase. Allen May helped us with financing during our first visit and was extremely helpful and informative. Unfortunately, our first vehicle was totaled just three days after purchase. Because of the incredible service we received, we didn't hesitate to return to Wilde Honda for our second vehicle. This time, we worked with Malissa Logue in finance. She is smart, talented, and truly knows her job. She made the paperwork process smooth and stress‑free -- she is absolutely an asset to the dealership. Throughout both visits, we felt welcomed, valued, and respected. It's rare to find customer service of this caliber. The professionalism and dedication of the staff reflect the strong leadership and positive culture within this dealership. We highly recommend Wilde Honda to anyone in Wisconsin looking for a trustworthy, customer‑focused dealership. If you want a team that truly cares about Sincerely, Dr. Janice Pugh

I've had my HR-V for a week today & I absolutely love it. It's very smooth & comfortable. I love the vehicle. I see a lot of reviews about power. It's a family SUV & grocery getting, you're not driving a race car. It gets the job done while providing good fuel economy. It's super cute and I can't wait to continue driving this vehicle for many years to come!

2023 Honda HR-V review
For: Safety, Reliability, 2.0 liter K series engine has been proven to be a long lasting, relatively low maintenance power plant devoid of direct fuel injection, turbo .. The engine is smooth and quiet unless pushed hard. The chassis is capable. The ride good for this class of vehicle, especially if fitted with improved tires such as the Michelin Defender 2. Brakes are good. Headlights decent, Cabin room is good. Knee room more than adequate in the rear seats. Overall a well thought out design. Negatives : If you drive fast this is not the vehicle for you. Fuel economy is not as good as direct injection competitors. Don’t expect to tow anything as it’s a CVT. The rumored upcoming hybrid will make this an even better vehicle.
