2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Bought a brand new 2023 Mazda CX 30 and really like the safety features that are standard features in this car. As an empty nester and retiree, the lane keep assist and lane warning are a welcome feature in this car. The lane warning and assist has an pleasant chime warning sound and the steering wheel vibrate warning the driver that he/she is deviating from the lane. With a little nudge of the steering wheel by the system get you back in your lane. Blind spot monitoring is also a great safety feature to let the driver know that a nearby car is on the nest lane, caution is suggested when changing lane. Cross traffic alert is also great, and it can even detect a person approaching the back side of your car when on reverse, of course it also detects a car approaching when reversing. The interior fit and finish is excellent, it makes the car feel and look like a luxury car without the price of a luxury car. This car is brand new, so I am still in the process of learning about the car. IMO, if you want to experience how the Mazda CX 30 is, get a test drive. You may like it or love it like I do. 2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
Purchased the base CX30 in June and just reached 2500 miles. I like the 16' standard rims as new tire purchases will be less costly. The car has plenty of room up front and in the hatch, however, rear leg room is minimal. The 2.5-4 is adequate, but definitely gets up in Sport mode merging on the highway. I like the stiffer ride from the torsion bar rear suspension, although that has been a complaint from some reviewers. The interior appointments are premium imo, and I prefer the infotainment system not having the touch screen. Great little car (GLC).

2023 Mazda CX-30 review
This is my baby! I absolutely love this car! It handles beautifully and very comfortable to ride in. I got the select because we wanted the 18” wheels. It has better braking capability. It also has a 2.5 - 4 engine. Radio is the only con because there is no antenna. But none of the new cars have one. Overall, this is the very best car for us and highly recommend it to anyone who prefers a smaller SUV.

So far so amazing. After this car, I'm very positive I will buy the same model. By the way, I don't know when it's going to happen since I feel like this car would stay healthy forever. Cargo room seems like the only part missing but getting a compact SUV like this? It was expected.

2024 Mazda CX-30 review
The turbo is remarkable feat of engineering. 227 HP from regular unleaded and torque that leaps right from the get-go, maxing out by 2500 rpm. 29 MPG on a trip with 2 hours of highway and 1.5 of city stop & go. Add 93 Octane and you get 240 HP and change. Very responsive steering and suspension. The Premium Plus will spoil you rotten. THAT SAID ... the gas tank is tragically under-sized. Good luck getting to 300 miles even on a well-behaved week of driving. Though 2 gallons remain when the panic lights up on the dashboard, you won't know how much you've used of it thanks to zero=2 gal on the gauge. Also, at 1 of those is just used to keep the fuel pump cooled. We've wrestled for months now over whether it's even safe to drive around these parts with a measly 275 mile range.

2022 Mazda CX-30 review
Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

2022 Mazda CX-30 review
It's the first vehicle that I have ever owned that I take out driving just for sake of driving! No destination just driving... I get a big grin every time I press the accelerator on my CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus trim. I am very happy with it and very happy that Mazda holds the top spot at consumer reports for reliability. The funny thing is, Mazda was not even on my radar originally, but it happens that it was one of the few dealerships in my area that had any inventory. Once I test drove it....It was Game Over! Went home and did a bunch or research and found out all the good stuff...went back the next day and bought it.

I just leased a new 2026 Palisade from Marhofer Hyundai of Green and couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process! I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for future purchases. I drove just over an hour to them as I was looking at used Subaru Ascents and they had the best selection of them for the best prices. I was peering through some windows in the parking lot when I was promptly greeted by Audi Petty. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful without being pushy at all. I told her why I was there and she went over all the Subaru options. She test drove each with me and went over all the features. She seemed to have such an understanding of what I wanted and what was most important to me so she suggested I try a used Palisade as well. I was stuck between which vehicle to select and she and her manager, Breanna showed me an easy side by side comparison with numbers included. Breanna suggested I look into leasing a new one considering how little I drive, which I had not considered. She pulled hard numbers for me and explained the lease in great detail. I was given all the time I needed to think about it and they were not pushy at all. I decided on the lease and things progressed quickly from there. (My laptop ended up dying and I needed to check in with work so Audi found a way to get me plugged in so I could keep working) I was in the finance office signing papers within 20 minutes. The finance lady was very kind as well and made that part such an easy process. She didn’t have that need to “manslain” everything to me. As a woman who was there alone, I LOVED working with all women the entire time! Getting a car can be such a long terrible process and all 3 of them made it such a quick, painless process. I was so pleasantly surprised and walked away with a brand new car that I love and that was within budget!

2020 Mazda CX-30 review
I purchased this car after getting hit head on in my Mazda MX five, which was totaled, but thankfully protected me from serious injury. I’m a big Mazda fan having owned a brand new Miata for 20 years prior to trading it in for the MX five. I looked at BMW, Audi, Lexus, Mercedes, and several other type SUV vehicles and chose to purchase the CX 30. I love the size and the nimbleness of handling. The reliability of Mazda’s can’t be beat in my opinion. I have essentially had no issues after buying this car brand new in December 2019 and still owning it as of spring 2024. Other than the normal maintenance I’ve had zero problems. It is easy to park maneuver and has good storage. If someone has really long legs and it’s going to ride in the back seat, they may not be perfectly comfortable. There are several things I wish I could change. One the size of the key fob is too big to fit into small purses And pockets. The center console top opens weirdly, and if you have the back seat full of items, it is often impossible to get into that compartment. It would be better if it open side to side, as is more traditional than tilting to the back where there isn’t adequate clearance when the backseat is full. The only other thing I wish is that it had electric seats. I also find that the shoulder strap on my neck given my height, and it would be very helpful if the shoulder strap was adjustable for people who are not tall. I agree with the reviews describing the easiness of the entertainment system. There is very little not to like about this car. I will definitely buy this model again.

Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. He was on top of everything from the beginning - responsive, organized, knowledgeable, and always followed through on what he said he would do. What I appreciated most was that he never made me feel pressured or rushed. He was available when I had questions, but never did the stereotypical pushy salesperson routine that makes car shopping so exhausting. Most importantly, he came across as a genuinely nice person. Honest, respectful, patient, and easy to talk to. Buying a car can be stressful, but working with him was refreshingly straightforward. If you're an introvert who dreads buying a car because it means interacting with a bunch of new people, Brandon is really good at reading the room and making you feel comfortable. If you're an extrovert, the same applies. He has a way of meeting people where they are and making them feel welcome without ever seeming fake or over-the-top. Out of all the dealerships I visited and all the salespeople I dealt with during my search, Brandon stood out by a mile. He made the entire experience feel easy and low-pressure, and I always felt like he was focused on helping me find the right car rather than just making a sale. I don't usually write reviews, so the fact that I'm taking the time to write one should tell you how positive this experience was. The rest of the team at Herb Gordon was great too, which only reinforced the positive impression Brandon made from the start. If you're looking for someone who will treat you with respect, listen to what you want, and make the car-buying process as painless as possible, I highly recommend working with Brandon.
2021 Mazda CX-30 review
We've owned the 2021 CX-30 for 2 years. It feels solid, well built and provides good value. Gas mileage is good at 30mpg combined. On the negative side, the ride is a bit jittery. And the battery tends to act up if you don't drive the car for at least 15 minutes at a time. The dealer explained this is necessary, because all the technology and chips that are packed into it need more time to warm up - which is a dubious assertion. But it is what it is. Will be trading for another Toyota hybrid, which in our view is the gold standard based on 11 years experience with a 2010 Prius.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
I owned a Mazda 3 Touring for 9 years, and due to an accident needed a new hatchback vehicle. Initially I was trying for a hybrid, but the hybrids made by Mazda were too big for my garage, so I tried Toyota and Honda models that would fit. Having been spoiled by my previous Mazda, my expectations were high, and all these cars were a disappointment for various reasons. And given I drive low mileage, it would have taken many years to recoup the cost of a hybrid vs whatever fuel savings they could provide. So in the end, I went back to Mazda and tried the CX30-Preferred AWD. Fell in love with it the moment I got in. For the money, it offered the most features, safety and otherwise, as standard, for a price that was truly affordable. Lots of bang for your buck. The vehicle design, construction, interior materials and organization just shout quality, excellence, reliability and safety. Mazda truly lives up to its reputation for amazing attention to detail throughout the vehicle. The unique Mazda design and AWD solidly hugs the road around curves, giving a great sense of control without feeling heavy. The car is about the same size as my Touring, on the smaller side, so it's an easy fit into the garage and small parking spaces. AND there is the crossover height and power front seat, making it easy for getting my old bones in and out of the car. I love the central display position and operation either by voice command or using buttons on my console rather than touching the screen. There is a learning curve, but once mastered, works very well on Android Auto with my phone. The only drawback is that my phone doesn't seem to charge - the dealer said that can happen with Androids. But that's a minor point for me. The cargo area is slightly narrower than in my Touring hatchback, but with the back seat down, it's comparable and more than adequate for my needs. Plus, Mazda has these wonderful soft cargo mats you can purchase that protect the back of the rear seat and the rear bumper when you are loading up. Sturdy and well made, the materials are great quality, and the mats are easy to install. And then there is the easy to use and well organized 'My Mazda" app to customize functional settings, perform all kinds of things remotely and check the status of various items about my vehicle, manage maintenance schedules, etc. I've had the car now for almost 4 weeks and have taken a couple of long road trips - and I have to say, every time I get in it, I am absolutely delighted with my choice. I feel really safe driving it, am loving the quality, ride, common-sense design and organization of the central and operational displays, AND the moonroof which was also standard. If this review sounds over the top, it's because this vehicle deserves it, believe me....it's a great vehicle for seniors like me especially.
