2026 Mazda CX-50 review
The CX-50 is a great car. The exterior and interior are sleek and luxurious, and it drives great. The combo leather/canvas seats are awesome, because you still get the look of leather without the sticky/sweaty feel. Responsive infotainment system and variety of control options (joystick, touch screen, steering wheel buttons) is nice. AWD works great for me in the mountains.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

as most midsize SUV's it is not comfortable for long trips. it is somewhat tight inside. Good gas milage. There are tons of electronics. we are older, not real tech savy. we had to go back for a second training session, since the first person did not do a very good job.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
The additional 6” in width makes the CX-50 do much more spacious than my two previously owned CX-5s. Cornering is much more stable. The turbo 4cylinder engine has the get up and go necessary for highway merges or passing left lane, driving to grandma’s house on Sunday Afternoon hogs! After owning my vehicle for just two weeks, there are only three negatives to date: 1. Poor explanations/directions in owner’s manual. 2. Poor gas mileage both HWY/City 3. No Manual Transmission option.

I cannot say enough about my salesmen (David). I will be remised if I do not share one of the best experiences that I ever had while buying my 2024 Denali Ultimate 1500. David contacted me months before I knew I would be purchasing this vehicle. David and I created a build for a 2024 Denali Ultimate 3500 Dually. My experiences with him were so grand, that my wife wanted to deal with him in finding her the 1500 Denali Ultimate. We gravitate toward genuinely ?good people?, and David is one-of-a-kind. He answered all calls day/night. He has taken my calls even when he was off duty. Truth be told, David, was off the day I came to pick up my vehicle. He is extremely personable. He knows how to genuinely deal with people. I have been a Chevy/GMC man my entire life, and I have tried to test his knowledge even when it was not to my best interest; he stayed honest. He delivers not-so-good news like warm rain. We, as consumers, get so caught up in believing that we can ask for anything with the expectation that we are going to get it because WE ARE THE CUSTOMER. Some things are indeed out of a salesmen control. Some things may even be out of the control of the dealership and the General Motors Corporation itself, but David remained honest even when things could not go my way. He does so with class, and I admire that. Wherever he works, wherever he is selling automobiles, I WILL ONLY PURCHASE FROM DAVID. If he is selling Toyota, then I will buy a Tundra. If he is selling Dodge, then I will buy a RAM. If he is selling Ford, then I will buy the F series truck. Why, because David has taken the time to know what I need and what I like. That means something to me. I am certain that if David is selling it, then I will surely want to buy it! I especially like the way he trained his young apprentice (I can?t remember his name), but this young man called my wife and I twice during our 7-hr. drive home to ensure that we were traveling ok. Thank you, David. Thank you for being there for my wife and I. Thank you always taking my calls to answer the same questions repeatedly. Thank you for picking us up from the airport on your day off and providing us transportation to the dealership. Thank you for finding our truck, which was surely a needle in the haystack. Thank you giving my wife the experience of a lifetime ? this is her first brand new truck. Thank you for giving us one heck of a deal ? one that we can be proud of. I can?t wait until my 3500 Dually is ready for pickup. 2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Have the 2025 CX-50 in white premium addition. Often think whether I should have bought the turbo as I wish I had some more power, but I didn’t want to give our insurance a reason to hike rates. It gets the job done and in style. Interior is nicely finished but I’ve experienced many little rattles from instrument cluster, A pillar, mounted Bose speakers, etc. lots of felt tape was needed to mitigate. Technology is the major con here. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth so I just plug it in now all the time. Wireless phone charger never works - it overheats seemingly after two minutes and stops working. At times the tailgate buttons seem to get confused and don’t know what you’re asking it to do. And the way the doors all lock / unlock together can be frustrating and I’ve learned that it depends on how many times you hit the disarm / unlock button on the key fob. Finally, memory seats never worked since buying it new, and I’m too lazy to bring it in all day for that. I like the car but I’m not sure I’ll get into another one after my time is up with it.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Overall, enjoy my Mazda CX Premium. Pros: Great Handling and solid stance, prefer the lower to the ground/wagon feel, priority on driving vs tech. Google maps and streaming and I am happy Cons: Short driver seat lacks support. Fabric seats in premium have developed a few snags, Infotainment bugs (I like the knob): can add same station to favorites multiple times, statelite always starts at beginning versus current station, and screen dimming auto dim required reading online forums to see the dashboard buttons override the infotainment vehicle setting. Lastly the IP plastic/crystal had to have replaced due to scratch and replaced one still seems low quality. 24 MY upgraded the suspension to make softer and the steering is not as heavy.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Keeping it short and to the point… Negatives: Front wiper leaves large area on passenger side untouched. Panoramic moon roof only opens to halfway on the front section of roof. No audible alert for rear camera No remote start option on key fob - only on Mazda app. Engine heat is felt down between steering column and peddles - will check with dealership during first service as this seems more than expected. Apart from what is mentioned above, this car is great to drive and I’m happy with everything else so far at 1600 miles

We made an appt, fell in love with the newer MX-5 and actually at the same time purchased a CX-50 Turbo for me and I love it! I have never in my life written a positive review for a car dealership but Mazda North has been beyond amazing. The team we worked with - Jose, Alex, Dave in finance and Beth - were all incredible - efficient, helpful, understanding of a customers time, honest and just fun to work with. I can’t recommend this team/dealership enough. Their integrity for the customer and to do things right shines through! We look forward to Jose’s future check-ins and will refer all we can!
2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.
