Eric was great, as usual. This was my 3rd new vehicle through him and I also sent a co-worker in who purchased too. The issue is not with the sales team, it’s with the finance dept. I am still waiting on resolution for an extended warranty I purchased with my new car last month. Shockingly the $$$mistake is in the dealers favor. 2 emails ghosted and no credit back to either my loan principal or my credit card. My suggestion is to just purchase the vehicle there and decline EVERYTHING the finance department offers then run out the door. Sales gets a 5, Finance dept 1 1/2. I will give them the rest of this week to keep up there end of the contract before I envolve corporate.

I bought a preowned cart here in 2024, have been getting it serviced since and just bought a new car from them this month. My experience with them has been outstanding and should be separated from my experience with Subaru of America (which, regrettably hasn't been). Everyone at Subaru of Austin works really hard to satisfy. Be nice, advocate for yourself, ask for help/ clarification and they're outstanding. They do whatever they can. I highly recommend buying and servicing (for things that can't be done to OEM standards more cheaply elsewhere) here. Just do your research... they're of course still a dealership and they're still trying to make money but yeah they're the best dealership I'VE EVER worked with. They're fair and kind.

2026 Subaru Ascent review
Have had Ascent for 3 weeks. Have learned most of the controls. A couple of the safety features are annoying and have disabled them. Sound system is great! Ride and quietness are wonderful. Handling on mountain roads not quite as good as my 2014 Outback but still very good. Only real gripes are interior side of driver's door has sharp edges which bother my left knee in normal driving position and not as much room for personal glovebox junk as I had in my Outback. Gets overall about 22 mpg.

We did a great deal of research before purchasing, including comparing vehicles, pricing, financing, and dealerships throughout the area. In the end, we felt very comfortable choosing Ken Ganley Subaru Bedford, and the experience confirmed that decision. A few items needed to be addressed before delivery, and the dealership followed through and made sure everything was handled before we took the vehicle home. Today, I brought my Subaru Outback to Dreyer & Reinbold in Greenwood to have my front brakes replaced, as another Subaru dealership had indicated that they needed to be replaced. To my surprise, the Service Consultant, Joey Mack, indicated that both my front and rear brakes were fine, and well within safe driving standards...thus, no brake replacement and no charge. Needless to say, the honesty of the service staff is highly commendable, and I will be returning for service and future sales there -- not Speedway Subaru, which gave me a faulty diagnosis and a $770 estimate. Thank you, Joey... you are a credit to the dealership's owner and managers for your outstanding help and integrity!

Since 2014 I have purchased three new cars at Janesville Subaru (a Legacy, Forester Premium and recently a Forester Limited). Allow me to share my experiences. The salesperson I deal with is Deana Watry. Deana sold me my first car from this dealership – but it was not my first Subaru which was purchased back in the 1980’s! I was impressed with Deana from the start. She was able to answer questions and get me into a vehicle my wife and I were seeking. If Deana did not know an answer she would find it. Over the years of brining cars in for servicing Deana maintained contact and ensured things were continuing to go well. As a buyer in his late 60’s I have dealt with a variety of salespeople in other dealerships selling other makes and models. Most in sales are simply out for themselves and will tell you whatever they like to get a sale – buyer regret usually followed. Deana is personally interested in helping us get what we wanted within our budget. She understands that customer satisfaction is about integrity, being honest, follow-up and continuing to build trust. Yes, I will continue to buy from Deana – I hope you do as well. Now for the dealership. After purchasing a 2015 Legacy the driver’s seat could not be moved forward or back. A Rockford Subaru dealership wanted $2,000.00 to replace the seat. Subaru of America had me reach out to Janesville Subaru to have them evaluate the seat. Within 10 minutes the problem had been fixed. A quarter had fallen into the seat track and stopped the seat from moving. There was no charge. I gave the bent quarter to the service manager with my thanks! I’ve only had service done there since. Buying tires - they are competitive with the large retailers. This means free rotation with oil change and free car wash. Travel is part of my job. Having a dependable car is essential. The dealership is good at keeping me updated about regular maintenance. In the service department, Jonathan and others work to schedule according to your time frame. It has been common for me to get in on short notice. I like the dealership and believe you will as well. Be sure to ask for Deana if you want to buy.
