2025 Toyota Corolla Cross review
Got it new with huge discount,,vehicle is overpriced if you pay close to MSRP would not recommend noisy tires,,hard seats not comfy...ride of suspension is excellent and soft tires and strong front end very good but not much to pick from for interior colors. Size is ok sits up high I have not gone over any bumps or pot holes. Just smooth roads.

2025 Volkswagen Taos review
I like the white and black combo. I like that it's not too big and is AWD. Still getting use to the technology. I can start and lock the doors from my phone. It notifies me if I left a window or the sunroof open. Will not go far if the trunk door is not completely shut. This is my 1st suv, I like sitting up higher than in a sedan.

2025 Nissan Kicks review
Only had my 2025 kicks sv a few months , 4k miles but I like it a lot , look , style, drives well and it very comfortable. Love all the included safety features that other car companies charge extra for . Gas mileage is incredible. Gave it a 5 across the board, as my last 3 new cars have been a Colorado , for maverick and jeep wrangler. Cost , value of the redesign kicks is much better imop . Let me begin by saying I have been looking for this dream car of mine for 2 years now, after countless hours with countless different dealerships, I finally found what I was looking for... a gorgeous gray metallic Genesis G80 Sport AWD V6 3.3L Turbo...365HP Luxury Sedan, CPO, Certified Pre Owned Genesis, heads up display, front, rear and side mirror cameras, Android auto, the works! Took months of dealing with dealerships, and the Salesman that helped me at Algonquin was so patient with me... You can't find these in my side of the country, they're all in the East coast, I was an out of state buyer from Colorado and tons of dealerships and their salesmen wrote me off but not this one, many not taking me seriously... but Casey from Algonquin Hyundai was the hero I needed... Even after times when the deal fell through, he would follow up with me, making sure he was still there to help me with this purchase... finally after a couple months and all the stars lined up, it was time to make the purchase, and Casey's steadfast dedication to make sure I was taken care of paid off. I literally bought the car, without even seeing it, just from pictures, from Colorado, then flew out to pick it up. They FedEx'ed me the paperwork, I signed it, sent it back then flew out to Chicago to pick it up and drove it back. Not only that, Casey himself picked me up at the airport and drove me back to the dealership 1 hour away! Talk about Genesis customer service! What do you expect when a luxury fully loaded 2022 4 door sedan goes for 58k when it's new you're buying primo goods... and mine was a 2018! After all the time I spent with Casey going back and forth, I felt like I made a friend, not just someone trying to sell me something...If you buy from this dealership, ask for Casey, he will take care of you like he did me, I'll never forget him and will always appreciate what he did for me, Thank you Hyundai Algonquin and Thank you Casey for making my dreams come true...
2023 Hyundai VENUE review
Great little SUV. Bought used with 8000 miles. Since I bought it I've averaged 36.6 mpg. over 14,648 miles. Every review I read it mentioned about its power, I can pass cars at high speed with no problems. Only problem is the storage space when back seats are up. Otherwise, easy to drive and park.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

2022 Volkswagen Taos review
I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

2021 Jeep Compass review
I had a really nice 2022 Chevy Equinox RS last year, but due to my commute over a mountain pass during winter, I was afraid it was going to get trashed. I decided to trade it in on a 2021 Jeep Compass Limited, believing that it would be a more rugged option. I am so impressed with my little Compass! Its leaps and bounds over the Equinox in my opinion. The Compass is more responsive, more comfortable and definitely more solid. I love how my doors unlock when I reach for the door handle. I love the tight turning radius (I’ve owned two Wranglers), and I absolutely how it handled compact snow and ice on the highway in Montana earlier this spring. I felt extremely safe driving my little Jeep Compass, whereas the Equinox always felt like it was “lightweight “. The only “bells & whistles” the Equinox had that the Compass lacks, is the remote rear door release on the fob and on the driver’s door and maybe the 9-speaker Bose sound. As long as I can listen to my memory stick with 5k+ songs with all 8-speakers working, I’m happy!! The mileage is comparable; the Equinox had a 1.5L 4 Cyl w/turbo and 6-spd transmission; the Compass has a 2.4L 4 cyl w/9-spd transmission, and I like having a little more meat under the hood. The Equinox is considered a mid-size SUV, Jeep Compass is a little smaller and rated as a “compact” SUV, however cargo capacity (cubic inch) is equal. The seats in the Equinox were very short under my behind, only extending halfway between my butt and my knees, if that, so long trips were not super comfortable. The shorter seats did allow for a little roomier cabin, which my husband liked, but since it’s my vehicle… yeah. I absolutely love my Jeep Compass Limited. I really wanted a Trailhawk model, and I might trade up to that version later, unless I can afford another Wrangler or ultimately a Gladiator. Summing it up, I am a Jeep Girl, and while I initially thought the Compass “isn’t really a Jeep”, I have happily been proven wrong. I refer to it as a Baby Jeep that wants to grow up to be a Wrangler Unlimited.

2021 Ford EcoSport review
My favourite car ever. Great inside and out. The rear wiper is perfect as are the front wipers, although it's easy to accidentally activate them. You'll need to adjust your seat for a perfect fit, bit once you find it, it's great. The bank seat could use more legroom, but otherwise it's great.

2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

I’ve had my ‘15 latitude, for a year. T-bones a car, last week, and they crumple like a beer can… In other words: had my wife get a ‘16 75th edition TODAY!! Yes, ramen diet, for a few years, + her “special edition” doesn’t have heated seats, or a heated wheel 😖 My latitude does!! I wouldn’t look at different 💯

2023 Volkswagen Taos review
Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

2020 Chevrolet Trax review
This is my first crossover. I've been a truck and SUV person for about 20 years. When my truck was stolen and totaled, I bought this car used with 84k miles on it. The first week I had it the water pump went out, I kid you not. Not good so far, huh? The good thing is the car told me " car overheating, idle engine." My mechanic says newer vehicles are made to warn you before overheating causes damage to the engine. Thank God. I like the car, I'm actually starting to love the car. Trunk space is minimal, seats arent the most comfortable, I miss having a center storage space, and a passenger armrest would have been nice. The radio is kind of small to be tinkering with while driving, and I wish Android auto was wireless with built-in wifi (newer models have this) but the steering wheel controls help me overlook this minor inconvenience. This car is the only car I looked at with all the options I wanted for this year and price: remote start, extra CLEAR backup camera, push start, power driver seat AND park assist which alot of cars are phasing out these days in favor of things manufacturers believe consumers find more desirable. The blind spot indicators and cross traffic warning is nice as well and the ac blows freezing cold. You really get lots of bang for your buck. Oh and I was surprised by how well it handles bumps in the road, my last vehicle made me seasick going over those big speed bumps, not this car, it's extra smooth. I can't buy large hauls at rummage sales or thrift stores anymore because there's not enough space to haul them home, but there's plenty of room for me and the grandkids. I really wasn't financially prepared to buy a car right now and couldn't afford to buy brand new. But TBH, I find this model year of this car prettier than the new ones and overall am really pleased with my purchase. I'm getting older and this will probably be the last car I'll ever own or drive and I'm glad it was this one. Thank you Chevrolet.

Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles.
