2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
Kids are grown and this car is simply for FUN! The VW Beetle wasn't even on our list when we started looking for a convertible. We test drove the more "practical" convertibles including the Volvo C70 (2nd place on our list), the VW Eos, Toyota Solara, and Chrysler 200 convertible. The VW with the 2.0 turbo is the one that put a smile on both our faces. The others felt heavy and a bit TOO comfortable. The 2.0 Turbo has plenty of power and the new design is lower, longer and wider changing it from a cutesy-mobile to a very nice looking car. Ours has the Fender sound system which I HIGHLY recommend. At 6'2", I have NO issues fitting in this car, and the trunk--although not big--is not tiny either and is the same size w/top up or down. It's big enough for a weekend getaway or a basic trip to the grocery.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I have only had to replace the alternator and a purge valve on my 2013 Beetle turbo. Both were day jobs and didn't break the bank to have done! I absolutely love driving the car, it's fun and sporty, but still eco friendly when you keep your foot out of it. The little car hugs the road unlike any other vehicle I've ever had (that includes an SLS roadster and a BMW M3). The fender sound system will rock your socks off and the interior is very nicely appointed. The seats offer enough bolstering to keep you planted while the lumbar support isn't too firm nor too soft. I love the look of the circular center steering wheel as well as the upgraded fender dash trim. I would suggest that if you are looking to buy one of these cars, definitely spring for the upgraded fender sound system with subwoofer..... very much worth the extra bucks. I sprung for the optional panoramic sunroof but I must admit that to my dismay, the roof only opens a slight amount due to the location of the radio antenna. It opens enough to get some wind in but it doesn't open "fully" as one might expect. Aside from this, and the occasional rattle of the dash trim, I have no qualms with this little car and I would highly suggest it to others. As with all VW's, the occasional quirk will appear, but, this only adds to the uniqueness and character that these little cars offer. Example) my keyless door touch unlock feature works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Oh well....no big deal. I'll just use the unlock button!

2013 Volkswagen Beetle review
I have owned my convertible bug for 10 years. I bought it brand new and have 98k miles on it. I have taken this car for its yearly inspection and oil changes at the dealership and completed all factory recommended service. Believe it or not I have not had to do anything besides buy tires...its on the second set...This car is still on all its original parts breaks, rotors etc...Its insane!!! I love my bug and it has been the best little car I have owned.

2016 Volkswagen Beetle review
Great pickup, very roomy inside, soooo comfortable, lots of bells and whistles. Heated seats, side mirror defrost. Great sound system, and the speakers have cool colored lights around them if you want. Love the manual transmission option. I can sit comfortably driving this car for 16 hours straight. I really cannot think of 1 bad thing to say about it!

I purchased a 2013 Volkswagen EOS Executive from Autowise. Our sales person was Traci. She was the best salesperson we have ever dealt with. She couldn't do enough for us. My car is wonderful. Like new inside and out. The mileage was low along with the price. We received a phone call from Tracy to please if we could return the car for an oil change and filter replacement even though when we checked the oil it was perfect. They hadn't gotten to changing it which was their policy of doing things for their cars. Most dealers wouldn't bother once the car was off the lot. Today we got a phone call from Tracy saying that they found another key, which we only had one, for us. If we wanted one the VW dealer would have charged us $400 to replace it. I can't say enough to praise Tracy and Autowise. I will surely recommend them to others.
2017 Volkswagen Beetle review
This car combines the best of the GTI with the looks of a rally car. Some Bugs are boring, but this one has the Dune trim package - turbo, fin on the back, 18-inch alloy wheels, sun roof, Apple Carplay, keyless entry and start, Fender premium sound package, heated seats, backup camera... Fun to drive, plenty of jump (my old car was a GTI - not quite that much jump, but more than enough to zip you through traffic) and a smooth ride.

They had everything I wanted but I thought I would get a better deal at a dealership... Boy was I wrong. Went to three different dealerships almost went through with a deal but they couldn't get me a good interest rate. It was so painful and awful I had decided to give up and just sink money into my current car and try again next year. I had an appointment at carmax the following Sunday and Dwyane called me to verify the time. I told him what happened the previous day and said I would be keeping my car because I needed a good rate and didn't want to be making crazy payments. He said, I hear you and totally understand, I'm happy to help you whenever you're ready. Just so you know when you are ready I have a good rate for you so I know we can find you something to make you happy. I was surprised because the other dealership said we couldn't get close to what I needed. Well folks, I'm in a new car, my payments aren't crazy and I have peace of mind. On December 23rd of 2016 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Patriot from the Pompano Beach Carmax (Sample Road). My wife is pregnant and will soon give birth to our first child. Before this we were a one car family with a Fiat 500 and my wife was very concerned about not having a car to bring baby boy home from the hospital in, not to mention to make it to all of the Doctor appointments for wellness checks in. So, I decided why not make the purchase a Christmas present/surprise since we needed one anyways! Only problem was I had this revelation on Wednesday December 21, 2016 and Carmax was to be closed on the 24th and 25th for Christmas. The real issue was that the perfect car (She had been wanting a white Patriot for a few years now) was all the way in Clearwater, FL... some 250 miles away. I was told by the sales rep at Pompano Beach that while it was possible the car may be there by Friday, in time for me to pick up prior to Christmas, it was in no way a certainty. I then contacted the Clearwater store to speak with someone who handles the outgoing shipments and he basically told me that it was not going to happen. From my understanding, the way it works with Carmax is when the car you want is at a location less than 200 miles Carmax will do the shipping itself and it usually takes 1-3 days. But when it is further than that they outsource to carrier companies. In that case they have to wait until they have enough cars to send to make it economical for them to do so and also deal with bidding/price hunting etc... which complicates the who thing and makes everything take much longer. After learning all of this I gave the corporate office a call and got in touch with a Emilee, an analyst from the Carmax Customer Care Team. I explained my situation and how much it would mean to my wife and I (both in the form of glee for her and reduced anxiety for the both of us) if they could somehow get the car to Pompano Beach in time for me to pick up on Friday. Before the end of the week Emilee had gotten a whole team of people in the corporate office working on getting the car to us in time. I received telephone updates from her all along the way. By Thursday afternoon I received an email informing me that the car was in transit, followed by a call from Emilee letting me know that everything worked out and the car should be there Thursday evening or Friday morning and a call from the Sales Manager at the Pompano Beach store letting me know that he had spoken to Emilee and once the car arrived they were going to expedite the "unpacking" and everything that that entails. The real cherry on top came on January 3rd when my wife received a FedEx package while I was at work. Inside she found a set of very nice swaddling blankets and a card that read: "Chris, Thank you so much for letting our Pompano Beach Team help you find your new-to-you Jeep Patriot for your growing family! Here's a small token from CarMax to welcome your new addition. We hope your Jeep Patriot takes you on incredible new adventures! Sincerely, Emilee, Your CarMax Customer Care Team" Everyone was super amazing and I could not be more grateful for the professional and caring people at both the local Sample Road Pompano Beach Store and the Corporate office. Thanks to Cristy (Pompano Beach sales rep) as well for making the whole process and painless as possible. As a side note: The Patriot was absolutely immaculate inside and out despite having 27k miles on it, my wife would have sworn it was new before she saw the odemeter... She was happy I saved us some money ;)
2019 Volkswagen Beetle review
We recently purchased a 2019 Beetle S model. We were looking for a basic car and when compared to anything out there, nothing came close in the drive feel. The Beetle shines when compared to all of the other base model cars. The ride is nimble, agile in traffic and fast! For a small car, the Beetle feels smooth and attached to the driving experience. I have owned a number of VW's and am impressed with our Beetle. If you are considering a new car, it is worth looking at the new 2019's that are available with Volkswagen's 6 year / 72,000 mile warranty. They will make the morning commute both an enjoyable experience and a memorable part of your day.
