I recently purchased a preowned jeep jku from them, I

I recently purchased a preowned jeep jku from them, I made sure I had copies of the service dept inspection prior to resale. Upon bringing it home I noticed an oil leak, I immediately brought it back and they claimed it was from the oil change. I brought it back 2 days later and explained to them they had cracked the oil filter housing and that was the leak, they reluctantly installed a new oil filter housing. The freedom panels on the roof leaked when it rained, they blamed it on a bent gasket & said it was fine now. The roof still leaked and I sent them videos and they told me it doesn’t, when I had video proof. I have now had the roof seals professionally replaced & the gaskets lubricated to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Now no leaks and I paid out of pocket since they refused to resolve this issue. When they cleaned the oil off the bottom of the engine they knocked out the bell housing plugs and never replaced them, they didn’t think I’d notice, but I did and replaced them myself. I discovered napkins and face masks behind the glovebox when I went to check the cabin filter, apparently they never checked the cabin air filter or they would have discovered this and that there was no cabin filter there, as well. A standard vehicle inspection includes checking the cabin air filter. One tire has a slow leak and I informed the sales manager, Brad and he didn’t care. I sent Brad pictures of the tires showing they are dry and cracked and said that must be the cause of the leak. His response was that the tires passed a safety inspection. So cracked tires past a safety inspection at this dealership, that’s contributory negligence if the tires were to cause an accident. They should be responsible to replace the tires asap. The service department signed off on the vehicle for resale and essentially falsified the documentation, I have the paperwork and will be submitting it to Ford. I was an automotive dealership consultant years ago and this dealership clearly has issues, from the service dept to the sales department. I have a mechanics certification as well and I can see these mechanics here clearly check boxes without checking what they are supposed to, no one checks their work and this isn’t a Ford dealership as much as it is a used car lot. The porter even told me how he had to air up that specific tire prior to me picking the jeep up, apparently they were aware of the slow leak it had. I was going to order a Ford maverick, but decided not to since we didn’t want to wait. I got an email this morning that this dealership placed the order under my name so that they can resell it once it arrives for $5k to $10k over msrp and claim I declined the vehicle. This practice is illegal and I will be contacting several representatives at Ford corporate that I knew when I was in automotive consulting. If I was doing a dealership evaluation on this dealership as a consultant I’d say that we would have a lot to do here. Don’t shop here, don’t get service performed here and please don’t even stop to use the bathroom here, it’s worse than a truck stop bathroom and there was feces on the bathroom stall wall the last time I visited it. I’m also consulting my attorney about the tires since Brad, the sales manager, told me they passed a safety inspection and that’s negligence and makes them libel at this dealership. Ford now has a 3 strike rule in place with dealerships and I’m sure after I contact them that will definitely count as 1 strike again this dealership and who knows how many else they have. After 3 strikes they loose their Ford franchise, so anyone else that had a problem here please contact ford corporate so they can have the strikes against them needed to loose their Ford franchise. Also, I forgot to mention that I purchased the vehicle on 8/31/22 and per the commercial and ad (which the dealership still plays in service) that anyone purchasing a preowned vehicle gets a backpack and a $500 visa gift card, I have never received the $500 visa gift card and Brad the sales manager has made excuses why he doesn’t want to give it to me, when that is false advertising since they have not given it to me. I was in the automotive consulting industry, conducted dealership 20 groups, went to nada conventions and in all honestly this is one of the worst dealership I’ve ever come into contact with and I’ve dealt with 100’s of dealerships during my time in the automotive consulting industry. I literally came here one day and spoke to a service advisor about my jeep repairs, then came back the next day and he was gone. They told me he quit without notice, that’s how good moral and employee retention are here. Thank you for reading my long review and avoid this place like the plague, that is unless you like to suffer through a plague. If I were given a consulting critique of this dealership I would need months to correct all the problems I can easily identify.

I have already had to pay to have the top seals replaced on it to stop the leaks that you refused to fix, i have an appointment for new tires on Tues since your dealership refused to replace the cracked ones they were sold with even though your service dept signed off on the with their “safety check” and now the motor is getting hot and the thermostats needs to be replaced and hopefully that is the only reason it’s getting hot. Don’t type that message like you really care when I have visited you repeated times to solve my issues and Brad the sales manager has refused to resolve them. I’m already out of pocket over $1000 on the repairs to their vehicle and I’ll just pay for the thermostat myself at this point. Luckily I got the ford preowned extended warranty for this and I’ll be informing ford warranty relations of all the problems this vehicle has had when your service dept had to sign it off with the checklist in order for it to qualify for a ford preowned extended warranty, they won’t be happy when they find out. Your dealership has refused to resolve the issues for weeks now when these issues never should have existed with the vehicle when I purchased it and now you respond pretending like you care, seriously you are so fake and your dealership is pathetic. It’s more of a corner crooked used car lot than an actual dealership. I have the paperwork that your service dept signed off on it all and I’ll be forwarding it to ford, your dealership needs to be audited by ford.

Great dealership

Bought a pre owned Tahoe and had a great salesman (John McCarthy). Vehicle is awesome, called couple months later about my warranty, still was glad to help! Overall great experience buying from here and when I’m in the market for another vehicle again this will be my go to dealership.

Wonderful Service

Excellent customer service center

I took my our 2017 Mustang to the service center. Christopher was a excellent service agent. We had a small issue and he was on top of correcting the problem. We will definitely go back for all our services for the car because I feel like I can trust them whole heartedly.

So don't buy or deal with Lance Cunningham Ford in Knoxville TN. These are just some small issues that caused us not to get our truck: They decided to add a hidden fee that was never disclosed when the order was placed regarding shadowmark, never stated anything that the refund was non-refundable, and then when spouse brought up that adding the shadowmark as a hidden fee (had 6 months to inform us but never did) and that it can be led to them being sued, the finance manager told us in a nice way to "get our stuff and get the heck off their property" This mainly deals with the finance guy there but also 1 salesperson and 2 managers weren't going to do anything about the illegal stuff they were doing. Screaming at us and flaring his arms Childish Rude, unprofessional, disrespectful Higher regard than women Treated wife like dirt because she is aware of the laws around sales. Walked out after us saying wife was throwing a fit, when in reality was simply stating facts he didn't want to hear. Refused us the sale on a custom model we waited 6 months for because they know they are doing illegal things Refuses to give 500 deposit back. Did not sign any forms stating it was non refundable Also was quoted a price and they tried to scam me of $12,000 by marking up the price I was quoted on paper
