After seeing a 2019 Outback on the Carfax site I contacted the dealership and spoke with Chris G. about the car. Was told that the previous owner slightly... damaged the grill and has since been repaired. Feeling comfortable with that and seeing that John Vance Auto Group conducted a wheel alignment, rotated the tires, oil change I drove from Louisville to make the purchase. They failed to disclose to me that both front axles needed to be replaced nor did they mention that the left front tie rod was cracked. I had the car inspected by 3 auto repair shops and a agreed that the axles and tie rod needed to be replaced. What unnerved me even more was they told me I had no business driving the car, period. After I had the repairs made and those repairs updated on CarFax, one can easily conclude that John Vance Auto Group knew the condition of the car. They knowingly sold me a severely damaged and unsafe car. They allowed me to drive over 800 miles home in a car that John Vance himself would not put his family near. I would ask that since the dealership knew about the damage and sold it anyway that they reimburse me the just over $2,000.00 that I paid to fix these issues. They have had copies of all of the estimates and the paid receipt of the repairs for sometime and yet they have no desire to make things right.

In the days of corona virus John Vance motors was offering internet buying. The offer by Mr. Vance on video seemed sincere. Since it was sight unseen... I expected the sales force to be my eyes and ears on site and be and do more than if I were there to check things myself. I asked several questions about various things, got affirmative answers and was assured twice that "they check everything". When car was delivered (400 miles) there were many things that were wrong (they did not check everything), without going into detail of all the problems I notified the sales people by email, no response. I notified John Vance, the owner, and can't say enough good about John. He took care of things immediately and as much as possible for me being distant, said that is not the way they do business. I believe him, and I feel confident that the next internet sale will be treated with integrity and double check "everything" thoroughly. If only reviewing John it would be 5 star.

I found our Durango online and the internet department was more than willing to help us out any way possible. We live in Wichita so I was very skeptical... about dealing with a dealership so far away. But, I was very impressed with the way the deal went about.
I will never do business with Vance dealerships again. Went in and spent 5 hours making a deal. When they finally presented me with the deal they approved... me of (after application, credit check) I signed the agreement and ALL parties agreed of the deal. Went through the entire process and went to sign final papers and told me I couldn't have the deal. The first paper I signed is actually a contract for the deal and they breached it. They are not working with me to make things right or even offer another deal. Worst dealership I've ever been too.

Called and spoke with Matt Olmsted, he confirmed the truck I was interested in was available, pulled it to the front and had it waiting for me. They allowed... me to take a lengthy test drive to confirm the truck would fit in our garage which was greatly appreciated. Once I decided this was the truck for me I was in and out in less than an hour. They gave good money for my trade, worked to get me the deal I needed and I’m now the happy owner of a new Ram Power Wagon. I did not finance anything so can’t speak to that process but the sales team was great and I will be back when it’s time for another truck.

This is what you would expect from a small town dealership. Wonderful people. Extremely helpful fought tooth and nail to get me into the car of my dreams.... Unfortunately it couldn't be done today but I will definitely come back for sure. Will for sure ask for Matt when I come back
