2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

Excellent, fast, happy service as always when getting my car serviced here. However this time I needed tires. I shopped at 3 different places and believe it or now…Jerry’s had the best pricing by far. All 4 new tires, alignment, state inspection, and new blades in just a few hours and at a very nice price at that! I highly recommend this place!

The ford explorer is an outstanding suv. The new design in 2020 is stylish and the rear wheel drive/4 wheel drive option is state of the art. The ecoboost engines are economical and extremely powerful. Ford dealers are everywhere! Ford parts are common and easy to obtain! I looked at the competitors. Front wheel drive is not suitable for trucks in my opinion. The handling of a rear wheel drive vehicle is outstanding. I actually have a 2022 platinum with the 3.0 v6 and this 2021 base with the 2.3 4 cylinder. Happy with each!!!

Went to Autoheaven Inc and found my dream car. Got myself a 2017 Dodge Challenger T/A 392. It was the best deal in NOVA. Everything was as advertised, the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and transparent. They provided me with a CARFAX report as well as the service records. What I liked about Claudia and the owner that they weren’t pushy like other sales associates at other dealerships. I purchased two more cars since then, got my wife a fully loaded Honda Odyssey and a Subaru for a different family member. Very happy with all the vehicles, recommend this place to everyone. I have owned Toyota and Honda vehicles for years. I love the space and comfort of my Ford Explorer. However I'm at 68k miles and just had to have my transmission rebuilt. If I didn't love the comfort and ride of this vehicle so much, I would trade it in tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed and praying this vehicle will hold out to 200k miles.

I recently purchased a 2018 VW Beetle Convertible. I ran a CarFax on the vehicle for my own peace of mind. It was mint condition with very low miles. My salesman was Hugh. He was great. I test drove the car on a Friday, filled everything out on line, was approved for my loan, came back on Monday and purchased the vehicle using the express checkout. This car was gorgeous, royal blue. It exceeded every expectation i had as far as style and comfort are concerned. We have a big family so the third row was convenient and folded so nicely when unneeded. Sunroof and moonroof. Heated and cooled seats. Heated steering wheel. It costed entirely too much in gas and had a lot of computer glitches (in display screen not performance). Transmission acted a little funny one day so I decided to upgrade. Granted It was a 2013 not brand new, but if Ford isn’t built to last more than 8 years, I’m moving on.

Good experience, very nice handling and easy to manipulate all the features. Mine is the limited version and it is really a nice and enjoyable car. Not sure it’s the in 50 plus years of driving but it is darn close.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

I have had this car for about two years, the V8 version. It is one of the best cars I've ever had. It has tons of space and is really reliable I wouldn't hesitate taking it anywhere. Haven't had to do anything major only routine oil changes and such. The explorer won't be the best on gas but if you're looking for something dependable this one is it.

Staff was very confident, knew there inventory, and quick to respond to questions and inquires. The dealership has a good variety of cars at many different levels and different price ranges. Overall a very good experience and would recommend and come back to this dealer in the future.

I bought my 2006 Ford Explorer XLT bout year & a half ago The person i got it from didnt do any repairs just drove it till he blew out the donut on Exhaust he had 4 miss matched tires on it I put 4 brand new tires i got a deal cheap $$$ for them on never been on a car no serious issues with the truck 4x4 works great runs and drives great I did put some work into it normal We're & tear like I had to change the donut gasket on Exhaust $20 half hour fix I put new breaks and rotors all around for $135 I changed the plugs need to do wires there is a dead spot in them next that's all I have done to it oh changed the oil and added 12 ounces 134 refrigerant to A/C Condenser now very cold put frost on windows other then that short change spent so far been good to me motor and trans no problems just noticed it does need an upper A frame bushing drivers side so I found a 10 piece front end kit for $135 includs 2 upper A frames with bushings already installed 2 upper ball joints installed & also 2 lower ball joints not installed 2 iner and 2 outer tire rod ends & 2 Stabilizer links I can do the install myself it rides like a brand new SUV smooth no rattles or any Noise you can't even hear any interior noice its Tight i do take good care of my vehicles I bought it for $300 i got about $800 into it I did all labor I'm sure I could get more then $2.500ish 3grand for it soon I do the front end but not for sale ill drive it till it rots out or blows up I do stand by the explorer had nothen but good bout it

First time Explorer owner, had an Expedition that I loved but it was too high for my wife, so it went to our son. The Explorer Limited is lower, but still higher than a crossover or sedan which helps my visability. Love the electronics but concerned that they will have problems later on so I purchased a dealer extended warranty (bumper to bumper) that is 10 years 125,000 additional miles for piece of mind. Car drives like a dream, is VERY comfortable, has more than enough power even with the 4cyl (used to V8's). Gas mileage even with 4WD is great (23 city and almost 29 highway) not climbing hills. We will see how it does when we go north.

My experience at this dealership was just ok they had to order a part it cam in the next day like they said it would went to pick up the car they did not explain the extended warranty pricing I had to call the extended warranty people to get the pricing and the car was dirty and battery cable was corroded I had to clean it it would not start.

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Happy with my new car that was purchased at Platinum, the car is in great condition and the price was by far the lowest on the East Coast.

My review on the 2021 Ford Explorer XLT model is that this is the SUV I ever owned also is my first SUV but to say that things I really like you said 360 Copilot cruise control it stops for you automatically slows down for you automatically drives for you automatically what more can you ask for it's got comfortable seats my seats are heated my steering wheel is heated I've got a moonroof that's beautiful when you open it and it's huge it's double moon also 300 horsepower keeps up with the Mustangs and the Chargers and the faster vehicles that are out there on the streets but it's also a family vehicle so I don't like to get on it too much but it will go over a hundred miles per hour easily overall I give this a 9 out of 10 and the only reason why I don't give it a 10 it's because it gives a stupid beeping noise if you walk out of the car with the keys in your pocket and it's running and it's done that to me many a times

Originally wanted the ST, but after losing everything in Hurricane Ida my finances were not where I needed for the ST. But I was shown the Timberline and hastily I agreed. But after a few weeks I was truly shocked at how much I actually loved this truck. I never thought a 4 cylinder could survive my hard driving style, especially since my last two cars had 400HP, but I was pleasantly surprised to feel extremely comfortable with the 300 HP eco-boost engine! When this lease is up even though my finances should be back on track, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be sticking with the Timberline!

I have had several Explorers all have been great vehicles. My newest is only a couple years old. I also still have a great running 26 year old with almost 200k miles. Never had a big or expensive problem with either. I can say the same for the BMWs, Mercedes and Infinity’s I have owned…Once these expensive vehicles warranty expired everything but their engine seemed to fall apart. My Fords are reliable and never break down (knock on wood) Not flashy like the imports but solid.

They also found me an affordable insurance and was able to get the car I wanted at the end of the day. They were very patient and helpful. They accepted me very quickly even with poor credit. I have been a Ford driver for very many years and have owned Mustang GTs to F-250s.I love the styling, drive, comfort and power. I'm most impressed with the comfort when towing my boat. We live half the year in Coastal North Carolina and half is SW Florida, so our boat commutes between the two. Switching from an F-150 to the Explorer I was concerned, but the Explorer handled the job without any problem.
