2022 Hyundai TUCSON review
Bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL Convenience in Sept 2021, owned it for 4 years now. With 45,000 miles, Ive had no major problems other than normal wear and tear, like brake pads, oil and tires. Very reliable, comfortable and affordable. If I were going to nitpick, I would prefer non leather steering wheel and gear shift. I keep them covered so they dont get worn out. Love this SUV!

2020 Hyundai TUCSON review
Very happy with our purchase. We have about 60,000km on the vehicle now (Yes Canadian). I am very pleased with the quality, performance, and reliability of the vehicle. We've had the Tuscon in the extreme Canadian Winters -40c, (-40F). Unplugged, and it has started without issue. I remember we were nervous when we bought the vehicle with the GDI 2.0L motor originally, but it has been fantastic since new. I would highly recommend the Tuscon to a young or older couple it is truly the perfect family vehicle. Great price and great reliabililty.

2024 Hyundai TUCSON review
After trying out dozens of different makes & models (looking for a used, comfortable 1 or 2 yr old car) we found our Tucson on a show-room floor with everything we wanted (except CD player) & paid less than what we were looking at with an older model of anything else! (would have given the car a 5 Star rating for interior, but center counsel is awkward to get into while driving & not quite enough small storage spaces.. other than that.. it's our 1yr anniversary with the car & we're Still learning all the buttons! We bought the car in Janesville, Wisc. The dealerships here in Rockford were pushy & wouldn't answer any questions unless we committed to buying with them. (Stay away!!)

I booked my 2023 Tucson hybrid in to this dealership with a check engine light showing whenever the car was started and with a check hybrid system light showing after a few miles of driving. I had tried to get these problems fixed at two other Hyundai dealers in the area, but neither had fixed the problem for good. Each had had our car for several days, and with no loaners available. This dealer fixed the problem in a few days, replacing a defective part, and thoroughly test drove the car (twice) to make sure all was in order. Khalid is good, but Tyson Mercedes is greedy. Khalid wore a sharp tailored suit which is unheard of in the dealerships where I am from. He was very professional, pointing out flaws in the paint he offered to fix before I could point out the ones I saw. He respected my time which was less than ideal for making a purchase today. We made a handshake on a good deal, but it's been over 6 hours and I still haven't seen my "deal" in writing with an out the door quote. As far as Tyson Mercedes, the vehicle which was just "front end aligned" last week had one tire about 5-6 pounds low, and this was not noticed with the yellow light on the dash when it was pulled around for me earlier in the day. The test drive was not safe to conduct other than around the corner and back at slow speed, so I have no idea how it really handles. The biggest issue I have is the dealership assessing a "non-negotiable" sky-high processing fee which is nearly $1000, probably among the highest in Virginia. It doesn't cost $1000 for the 15 minutes of work it takes to process the sale and send the documents to DMV, etc. If they want this kind of fee, they should be selling vehicles $1000 below market value, and not even bothering marking them up $3000 over market value! Be prepared to negotiate $3000-4000 down just to get to the market price on a used vehicle! After you get to market price, make them take off some of the $1000 processing fee from the sale price or walk off the lot and go buy the same thing from another dealer who only charges $500 or less in processing fees. If it's taxable, it's negotiable! Do your research and use online tools to know the market value before you visit any dealership!
2022 Hyundai TUCSON review
So far, this has been a great car. Good gas mileage, good ride, good service, except for one issue with fuel injectors. Out of town dealership relaced quickly and professionaly and got us back on the road.

2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

2019 Hyundai TUCSON review
I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson in 2021 from the Dealership as the second owner. It has not given me any issues. I get it serviced when required. It has never had any issues. I feel the interiors are comfortable. I love the butt warmers. I love the vibrant blue exterior. SUV has so much space. When I put my foot down it it definitely not my old 300CC Hemi Chrysler V6 engine but it eventually goes. It feels sporty and stylish. 26mpg on the freeway.

2024 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have a 2024 Tuscan XRT .I bought slightly used and now has 17k miles . It has been a fantastic car. Initially wanted the SEL convenience hybrid for the gas mileage but couldn’t justify spending an extra $4-6k to save a few hundred dollars on gas a year. My non- hybrid has gotten amazing gas mileage. Averaging 28-29 mpg mostly stop and go, some highway. Way better than the estimates of 23-28mpg. The EPA estimates are way off ! The Tuscan drives so smooth and so quiet. The 8 speed transmission is amazing! It shifts quickly and so smoothly . The cabin is extremely quiet. I think there is more insulation/ sound proofing than the hybrid versions that try to cut down on weight. You don’t hear any road noise in theTuscan !The suspension is smooth and adsorbs every bump . The most surprising positive is the handling. There is absolutely no body roll and handles like it is on rails! I have owned a lot of vehicles and this handles better than anything in this price range. Handles better than any Subaru, better than the BMWs I have had. Feels like I am driving an Audi A4 which is pretty impressive. The seats are extremely comfortable, the stock radio sounds great, lots of legroom and the passenger and cargo room is amazing. Back seats hold full size adults and the seats recline! The cons. Not very many. The 0-60 could be better. However, it shifts so quick and smoothly you don’t notice any issues with speed/ power. A few reviews say 0-60 in like 9 +seconds . I don’t think this is accurate. My guess is high 7s -low 8 seconds but haven’t tested it. It doesn’t have sports car speed but it sure handles like one. For long drives and a daily driver, I would take the comfort / quietness and handling of Tuscan over a muscle car.

2008 Hyundai TUCSON review
In South Am scenario, despite newer and more expensive suvs like Jeep Compass and the new Corolla crossover, the “classic” Series (2004-2017) Hyundai Tucson still delivers! Roomy, quiet, reliable almost no maintenance and fun to drive compact SUV that you can park in a chic mall without shame or fight mud snow and irregular roads with confidence! Note: mine was purchased last year (2020) with original 60k miles and is a lovely bespoke and B4/NIJ IllA armoured unit so I don’t think in trading it but conserve with me perhaps with a green one or a different toy in the future..

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2025 Hyundai TUCSON review
I just bought it. How would I know how reliable it is? We're used to a car with a V8, but bought this for economy and the warranty. It' slightly underpowered but not a deal breaker. The Auto stop start feature is a royal pain. It's 95+ degrees, We're at a series of long red lights. The engine stops, the A/C is running, the engines heats up, the car starts for the A/C compressor, stops, starts, stops, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, (wasn't that annoying? YES IT IS!) and starts when I release the brakes. This goes on all afternoon. I've worked on cars for 65 years and you will never convince me it won't wear out the battery and starter prematurely. I want that mess disabled. We will put less than 6,000 miles per year on this car. I doubt we saved $,20 in gas compared to a $600 battery/starter replacement bill.
