Josh/Dan great job or "the story of a man who didn't bet"

My family (3 adult kids and I) had bought our last 8 cars from another dealer in the Chicago area because they had always given us the best price. Josh and the sales manager Dan beat all the other dealers price with their 1st offer!!!! Equally as important, I came in on lunch break needing to get back to work and Josh accurately took my information which included a GM card earnings (points) and a Chevy incentive to buy back my old lease. Some of the other dealers screwed up those incentives and I had to re-explain over and over to them how the incentives worked. What a waste of my time with those other dealers. Josh and Dan were 100% accurate on 1st try!! Josh and Dan also respected MY TIME and suggested that I go back to work and have Josh text/call me after they got the numbers ready. I got back to work and Josh called me with what turned out to be a great and fast offer. Other dealers played the game of throwing a very high offer on the table and then all the silliness of "what can I do to earn your business" or "what would you be willing to come up to today" I gave all the dealers "MY PRICE" walking in their showroom and what I was willing to sign for on the spot. Sunrise and Josh came within a few bucks of "MY PRICE" on their 1st offer. (so, to be frank, because Sunrise got within a few bucks of my price on the 1st try, I didn't even haggle with Sunrise any further). One sales manager at another dealer came in about $60 higher than Sunrise on their first "best price"...............I just literally laughed. He walked away multiple times, came back multiple times, each time telling me how they were losing money and what a great deal I was getting and that I couldn't get a better price somewhere else. I literally pulled out my wallet and challenged him to bet $100 that I could come back with a signed leased contract for another Traverse at the exact same MSRP vehicle and a $30-$40 better monthly price before the upcoming Saturday or before. He stammered ... "I"M NOT A BETTNG MAN" ......(lol). After about 45 minutes, he eventually got within a couple bucks of the Sunrise price but in the final analysis, I chose to drive all the way out to Sunrise (32 miles from my house) just on the principle that Josh and Dan did not waste my time. When I got to Sunrise on a Saturday morning for the pick up, the car and all the paperwork were ready and everything was done very quickly. My wife had to come in the next Monday (she was working on Saturday) and sign some of the paper work and she was also very happy. Josh and Dan moved fast, hit "MY PRICE", were accurate, and were fun and good guys to work with. Josh A+ and Dan A+. Jeff
