Very comfortable ride and seats, reliable, and great visibility. Love the Mark Levinson sound system, it is excellent! We bought it 10 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like brand new. I love how whisper quiet it is, no road noise, and there is not a squeak or rattle anywhere in the vehicle. Lexus is definitely in a class of it's own. It is so easy to keep it showroom clean, which makes it still look brand new. When seeing it, no one believes it is 9yrs old.

I did the entire transaction online, which can always be a bit stressful as the dealership is 10 hours away from me. Mike was my sales rep and I cannot imagine anyone being more responsive, thorough, and upfront about every part of the transaction. Professional, polite and personable, I always felt like I was in good hands. He picked me up at the airport, drove me back to the dealership, and I was on my way within an hour. I have purchased Mercedes, Audi, and other luxury brands, but this was by far the best customer service experience I have ever had purchasing a car. By the way, the vehicle, a Lexus LC 500 convertible is incredible as well!

I love the truck capability combined with first class comfort. My GX has everything I need, and nothing I don’t. Long term value, combined with old school charm is hard to beat. Where else can you find a school bus mirror combined with sun glass holder? My third Lexus and will not be my last.

Bought a 1 owner GX460 after owning an RX350 for 14 years and 245,000 miles. I LOVED that car. The GX is perfect for my growing family and a little bigger for all of the excess a toddler has in baggage. Will always buy Lexus. Reliability beyond compare!!

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. This is my 4th Lexus 460 GX. It seems smaller and there no point using the 3rd row no leg room. What I don't like especially is that you can view everything in your cargo area between the Captain seats. There's no cargo or tonneau cover to hide the cargo. I bought a piece of carpet to hide what could be seen and it continues to fall down.

We just bought a high mileage TESLA from star motors. The entire experience and the car itself was great. Alex can actions as very reliable, open and ready to help always. Payment and shipping were managed in a very honest and trustworthy manner.

We really enjoy everything about this SUV it is a comfort to know it is so capable yet very Stylish at the Same time. Towing, Mountain Roads in every season we’ve done it all.

I really like this GX 460, I was considering a GX 470 instead I went with a GX 460 premium and I really like the color it not being a common color, it seems since the little I've owned it I'm always getting complements on it.

Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

This is a very comfortable car and is great for trips. It has a tremendous amount of room for luggage. The V8 also makes it great for driving around town.

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Land Rover Hinsdale, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on helping me. My sales consultant, Dan Gallovitch, and Kevin Jacobs, the Center Manager, were incredibly knowledgeable. Overall, I love my GX. Its exterior styling is aggressive and unique. The interior is conservative, yet luxurious. I appreciate that it doesn’t have the auto start-stop feature that all the other vehicles have. I don’t miss it! The V8 is silky smooth. It is very quiet when maintaining a speed. But when accelerating, the V8 is like music to your ears. Regarding the negative traits, it is a gas guzzler (19hwy/15city). Considering it has a 4.6 liter, normallly aspirated V8, it is sluggish. It has 301 hp/329 ft-lbs of torque. The 0-60 is listed as 7.2 seconds. The throttle isn’t responsive for the first 50% of input. The second 50% of input is where you get the response. But it comes with the drama of the downshifting and V8 roar. There is no good reason why this engine and transmission can’t perform better and more linear. It has a 6 speed transmission. If it had an 8-10 speed, it would more than likely help with the performance and fuel economy. If it had a fully independent suspension it would improve the handling. The controversial rear side-hinged cargo door takes some getting used to. Why they didn’t design it with a hatch is anyone’s guess. I was aware of everything I stated and I still chose to lease it. I have no regrets. It is a good and solid SUV with an excellent reliability record. It holds its resale value. It does more things right than wrong. I recommend it.

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.
