2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

Brought my ‘24 GLE in for a check engine light and a rear window washer blockage. Service tech found exhaust baffle blocked due to icing, heated and greased with great success. Tech also found washer fluid line blocked and frozen. This problem was also corrected. Tech performed a complete vehicle inspection as well. All service work was accomplished with no charge. The dealership also provided me with a brand new 2026 GLC courtesy car for the day. Five Star ⭐️ service including my time spent with Tom O’Connor my service advisor!

I was also told if the repair is extensive to call the Mazda Customer Experience Center for review for assistance with cost eligibility. I went to get a diagnostic at Tasca in Cranston RI. I worked with Julie Mahoney who was both professional and kind. Tasca helped reach out to Mazda Corp on my behalf. Even though they were unsuccessful in getting Mazda Corp to assist with the extremely expensive repair cost ($2,600) Julie was able to help me by waiving the diagnostic cost, not charging for the rental, and offered a discount on my oil change and tire rotation. Thank you Tasca Mazda for assisting, but still not happy with Mazda Corp for not helping with the repair cost of a known faulty part. Look up TSB SA013223. It’s a well documented issue on the 2022 CX5, yet Mazda Corp refused to assist because I was 2k miles over the warranty.

Lou was my salesperson and he was super communicative, explaining and re-explaining when he seemed to feel it was needed. No surprises along the way, I was able to test drive the van as much or as long as I wanted, have a mechanic come by to inspect it and they washed it and added a full tank of gas on pickup day. They had done some quality servicing to the vehicle as well before pickup day. Lou mentioned early on that he wasn't paid on a commission basis, which was a good detail for me to know. In the end, all the numbers were the same from the beginning to end, no "uh oh" moments and it was a super fast experience on pickup day - probably the fastest ever for me to get the keys and drive a new (to me) vehicle home. I will look to use them again if possible in the next year or so. Highly recommend.
