2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
Surprisingly an excellent value for sports car. Bought mine used and quality is still intact. The reliability has proven to be very good. A fun DIY car that is easy to work on. Parts are priced reasonably well and readily available. The Mercedes roadability is the true fun factor. Classic Mercedes styling, being a unique hardtop convertible, and name, will win many over now in and in the future.

The SLK is what you would expect from Mercedes it is not a competitor for the Porsche Boxster but rather an alternative... This is not track / race car it is a sophisticated touring roadster. The low end torque is weak but by downshifting with the transmission paddles this can be overcome.. The car itself is minimalistic except where it counts. Fast stylish and so much fun it aught to be illegal. It has everything a sports car needs without the fluffy extras. It doesnt need an ugly spoiler or GT stripes. When you floor the gas you will understand that this baby Mercedes isnt a baby at all. Its not for the fainthearted. Its a sports roadster with a pedigree miles long and lives up to its heritage. Yes there are faster cars. Then again beauty is in the eye of the person owning the keys to its 3 pointed star F1 style nose

Easy car to drive. Wife loves her slk's this is her second. We had to pry her out of her old black compressor. She loved that car. She named it black beauty. When the 2006 showed up she was smitten. Nice thing is. You can buy these older sports cars for your wife. They are inexpensive. Safe and fun to drive. Have a trust worthy Mercedes dealer service her car. That way its not blaomed on you later😄

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
This is a chocolate box of a car. I give it to German engineering and craftsmanship for packing everything into this model. I wonder if anything with a combustion engine has been made better than this? Right now, I can't think of anything I don't like about it - even keeping it clean is a pleasure. OK, paying premium gas takes getting used to. The big question.... Am I good enough to deserve this? It's a crime ($23.5K for a 2012 model, with Sahara leather and burled walnut, with just 59k on the odo. Took it straight to a Mercedes car specialist to look over. Happy to report it's in tiptop condition. ) PS I don't know about reliability yet. But I had to rate it, so was optimistic. I was careful to study the Carfax service history for my vehicle - and am going into this knowing that TOC is going to be "higher than average".

2004 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
The C230 Kompressor (2.4 liter) engine is SUPER dependable…IF the car has been maintained. If you don’t have a service record and are not good at detecting problems on a test drive then do yourself a favor and spend the +/- $300 to get it inspected at a competent Benz garage. Mine has 200,000 miles and have never had ANY big expense…most I ever had to put into it is about $400…which is what it cost to replace factory front brakes, or to service the auto trans with fluid and filter. change. Only mechanical problem I have ever had are worn cam sensors, which is common and costs about…$400 to repair. My experience after driving the car for ten years is that parts are affordable on eBay…used lower mileage engine: <$1000. Main thing is to replace supercharger oil if it starts to whine louder. YouTube has a video on how to do that w/o removing the supercharger. Lastly, while I maintain the car, I also drive the holy xxxx out of it! It’s only going to start leaking oil if you don’t get it changed often enough, or if you drive it like an old lady who is not from Pasadena…

Handles like it’s on rails acceleration is very surprising for a v6 lots of compliments all around beautiful car!!! Very fun to drive!!! I bought the car for the purpose of relaxing after work on winding roads near our home. It has been one of the best auto purchases I have made. It is fun to drive, is very responsive, with a strong and reliable V 6 engine. It has been garaged since new, and I was careful to avoid driving it on salt treated roads. The paint and finish are pristine, the interior very good. Leather seats have no cracks or splits.

2014 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
Car looks, feels, drives, like new. I had been looking for the model and year I wanted without much luck. I finally found it on Cars.com. And for $6,000.00 less than the previous cars I looked at. The whole deal took around two hours, and I already know where to buy my next car. The salesman, paper work, test drive were actually pleasurable. I actually called the salesman and thanked him. That?s a first. Everyone exceeded my expectations. It was definitely worth the two and a half hour drive to get there from Palm Bay.

2014 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
I have multiple vehicles and the SLK350 is my fair weather toy. It has limited space but if it had wings it would fly. Terrific road car that handles so well you want to take the road with twists and turns. The folding hardtop and styling shows you have arrived and the 350 performance is top shelf. If you have a garage and a daily driver and take pride in your ride then this is the car for you

2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
This is a great sports car. It has a retractable hardtop, so it like having a small coupe as well as a convertible at the same time, in less than 25 seconds you can go from one to the other. I find them very much problem free and fun to drive.

2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
Previously I owned an SL550. When it was totaled out because of an electrical fire in the trunk I decided to look at the SLK model. while it is not the car that my SL was, my SLK 280 serves my needs quite well. It is my fun car. I use it for weekend road trips and just joy rides when the weather is nice. It has a lot of scat and sounds cool when you tromp it. I love the looks of the car and often get complements when I drive it. I am very satisfied with my choice to buy my 2008 SLK 280.
