I have been a loyal customer of Evanston Subaru for decades. I was concerned when the dealership was sold because of my excellent relationship with the former owners. I am pleased to say, that my last 2 encounters for routine maintenance service has been excellent. The service representative was courteous and communicated with me regarding the progress of service and issues that were detected. I continue to be a loyal customer.

Other than normal maintenance & a few recalls, my limited edition Ascent has worked flawlessly, been safe & fun to drive & I have no complaints. This is my third Subaru (Legacy-Forester-Ascent) & they've all been good cars, each progressively better. I definitely recommend this car.

Service (Rick) was great . I'd give him a 11 on a 10 scale ! Every body was very knowledgeable and able an willing to answer any questions !!!

Love my Forester only drawback is the tires are made of a soft compound and you only get 25k miles then they need to be replaced.

I could tell right away that Giovani took pride in providing exceptional customer service. His dress was business casual, his demeanor was so very pleasant, and he provided accurate information, and he listened to my questions without rushing me. Giovani treated me with respect, and I have no doubt this is how he treats all of his customers. I needed to have my car back to me at a certain time, and while Giovani told me he did not want to “over promise” me anything, he would make sure he would do everything in his power to make sure I could get out at the time I needed to. My car was ready for me ahead of the time that I asked! Just a great experience, and I’m so pleased to have been able to work with Giovani!! Giovani’s genuine attitude put a smile on my face! I'm still driving the 2019 Ascent with 56k miles. Other than a few recalls handled quickly, no issues whatsoever. Dependable, quiet, performance, comfort. I just had a loaner of the 2023 Ascent Touring model and I was amazed at the improvements. While I am keeping and love my 2019, the 2023 has improved handling, quieter, the transmission is certainly smoother and a solid and comfortable ride. Perhaps it has to due with the Touring model. I am not certain. I find my Subaru dealer to be honest, supportive and with an educated staff. This Ascent is large, which I enjoy immensely and without any family. The fit and finish is outstanding and the dash is quality components. No cheap plastic knobs or low grade materials. I would encourage you to test drive one today.

My experience was pleasant . The scheduling and dropp off was seamless. Sardor was knowledgeable and efficient. The facility was clean and the staff was nice.

Great SUV. Very comfortable, Performance is acceptable. I am 6' 2" and I have plenty of leg room. Even have to move driver seat forward to drive. Auto adjust feature for driver seat is nice. Wish it included side mirrors also. Only drawback I find is the gas mileage. In this day of soaring gas prices it is a huge downside.

Car is great in Pennsylvania winter, it has a great exterior styling but the interior feels cheaper. I’m not upset with this as it’s a sub 30,000 car and I see the trade off with the legacy for the price is the engine being ~100 horsepower more to the crank while the legacy with less power has a much nicer interior. Also VERY happy this car comes in a Manual and will continue to buy them so long as this stays.

Bought this car three years old with less than 50K miles on it. I’ve loved it since we got it. It has been very reliable, fun to drive, with pretty minor drawbacks. For example the maintenance has been very minimal. I haven’t noticed ANY oil burning or leaking (I have personally changed the oil every 3-4K miles). Sometimes on long trips it will burn some oil and need a top off, which the car alerts us to. Overall I’d buy this car over and over as long as it fit my needs at the time. Currently looking into an Ascent for future hockey trips and other trips.

I was surprised by how much I liked the CX-5 but even more surprised by how pleasant an experience purchasing a car was at this dealership, largely due to the saleswoman Gabbie. WE PURCHASED A 2019 SUBARU OUTBACK LIMITED THAT HAD A LOT OF OPTIONS. WE MET WITH JASON ZAPFEL THEIR DELIVERY SPECIALIST, AND ASKED HIM TO EXPLAIN THE OPTIONS ON THE VEHICLE AND HOW TO USE THEM. Front mid console is a bit awkward in placement, making it difficult to put two drinks in the designed locations. Its also awkward for the passenger to open the compartment because the fit is too close to the front seats. The lack of any dedicated sunglass compartment is frustrating. How about as part of the overhead info center?

Service was routine and fast and the fuel injectors were cleaned although I thought that would help with the car starting faster as there is some slight hesitation but that has not happened yet...maybe it takes some time to be affected.

Third time buying a car from Napleton Palatine Subaru, two used and this time a new car. The sales manager Dan Shusterman is a pleasure to deal with and all of the sales team is very knowledgeable and courteous. Definitely the place to go for a new or used Subaru.

At the start, I wanted the Toyota 86 over the Subaru BRZ. However, the supply for a new Toyota 86 is zero in my area, and the Toyota dealerships were not interested or able to help. Thus, this motivated me to investigate the Subaru BRZ--and I glad I did. My nearby Subaru dealership is wonderful in customer treatment, vehicle inventory, and price. The BRZ offers more for the money and will have Subaru instead of Toyota to service the Subaru engine that is used on both the 86 and BRZ models. The appearance, handling, and response are great.

Sales rep and finance manager were both very helpful and professional. Almost entire buying process was completed via email and text. They sent me a very thorough video tour of the vehicle and made us feel confident in our purchase. It was shipped directly to our house and we are very pleased with the whole process.

I love my new Forester. This vehicle has a CD player which is great. Two negatives. I own the mid model and an automatic trunk latch is not offered. Trunk opens so high that I had to buy a stool to use to close the trunk if the vehicle is on higher ground. You cannot adjust trunk height on the mid line model. Center console does not move. I am petite and my elbow was dragging without a comfortable armrest. I had to buy a separate component on Amazon to remedy the issue. The vehicle drives like a dream. I feel very safe. I love the colors that Subaru offers. I also like the mission of the company.

Bob Thom helped us buy a used vehicle and the service could not have been better. He was straight forward, honest, none of the wheeling and dealing you'd expect from a used car salesman. No haggling involved with the trade in of an old vehicle, we were in and out in less than 2 hours. Most of the vehicles there are trade ins from the Volvo and Honda dealerships owned by the same person, so its not a lot of random old cars there. I sent out requests for a test drive for about a dozen similar vehicles in the Chicagoland area, and this was the first place I heard back from and the most friendly.

Took a used Brz automatic for a test drive and wow. I've driven heavily modified suspension/engine cars, german cars, fast fords, lexus, nissans but xxxx. The feeling you get from this car is fantastic. Handling and steering are so good from the factory it really makes up a lot for the missing ponies. Really though, it only needs a little more power. Not a turbo or supercharger. That would only blow up the price fast. Aftermarket bolt ons would liven it up. For the price its hard to beat. Sure you can not pick it's slow. Try to find this kind of steering handling outside of Porsche prices. Consider you'll have more fun below the speed limit than most and stay out of jail at the same time. Other than this, you could buy a miata

THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!
