2025 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I bought the SEL R-Line, which comes fully loaded with all the luxury features. My favorites are the massaging seats and customizable ambient lighting. All the materials have a quality feel to them. The car also drives very well - it's nimble for an SUV and has plenty of power. I almost bought an Audi Q5, but this new-generation Tiguan was a far better value.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2024 Nissan Rogue review
I've owed the rogue SV for some 9 months and I'm very pleased with the ride, performance and reliability . Prior to me purchased this car I rented a bunch of competitors to narrow down my choice. The Rogue has alot of features that really come in handy. It's a very thought out vehicle. On long highway trips it holds the road very steadily at 90 MPH and my gas consumption was in the low 40's. For the money to me it's the best value out there

2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

The equinox is very nice for the price. My biggest complaint is has a horrible suspension. I even lowered air pressure in the tires below the recommended pressure and the ride was no better. You feel every little bump in the pavement.

June 30, 2026 It was Sunday June 28, 2026 at about 10:30 PM at night on our drive home to Illinois when we experience a brake system failure, there was a loud squealing on the rear brakes without even stepping on it and then later was a loud grinding noise. Since I had my family of four with me, and for the safety of everyone, I decided to exit the nearest town and drop off the van to the nearest available Honda dealer service center. Drop it off, hoping that it will get fixed the next day. The Honda dealership was Herson’s Honda at Frederick, Maryland. Herson's Honda - New & Used Honda Dealership That night, there were already 12 cars dropped off ahead of us and I was the 13th drop off. I took the chance and will just wait for the car to be fixed the next day. We stayed in a nearby hotel and rented a car near the Honda dealership. MONDAY Morning, My wife and I drive to Honda the next morning to check the repair status of the van. My overall experience with Herson’s Honda was more than I expected. It was outstanding! 1. Cleanliness: area is clean and organized. 2. Staff: I was immediately welcomed by one of the service advisors and was directed to the service advisor who was assigned to my car. 3. Service Advisor: his customer service was outstanding from start to finish. His name is JAMES SPRADLIN. 4. Empathy: James understood my feelings and frustration and concerns and the need to drive the family home but theres other customers who were ahead of me with appointment. But James constantly monitored repairs in progress. The next day i received a text from Honda dealership of possible repair and parts to be ordered asap. 5. James constantly provided me an update thru the app. I like that app. Shows all, cost, diagnosis and the choice to accept repairs or not. Thank you James. It was really helpful to relieve a lot of stress and worries if the car will be fixed soon OR get stuck in Maryland. 6. Service and Repair: Diagnosis and recommendations were was as I expected. Technicians were honest and did a good repair on the brakes. It also did more damage to tue caliper which I also suspected. 7. Cost was regular labor and parts. No issues with it. Lives and safety are more important and irreplaceable. Money can be replaced. 8. TUESDAY June 30, the job was completed Tuesday evening. UPDATE: its almost 600 miles since we left Herson’s Honda and the van is rolling great. had no issues. Mainly because the customer service I receive most places isn't worth me taking the time to write a review, but this dealership is the exception in every way. There is no way I could not write a review. This review is a little long but if you're considering purchasing a Nissan you want to read this review. I just purchased a 2022 Nissan Versa from this dealership. It was important to me to purchase the car this weekend because I needed it to travel out of town this coming week. I live in Baltimore MD and originally planned to purchase the car in Baltimore. I had been told by a local Baltimore dealer he would have a Versa on his lot by Friday 3/4/2022. I planned to be there bright and early the morning of the 4th to pick it up. However, the evening of the 3rd, the salesman called to tell me the ETA had changed and it would be another week before the Versa would arrive. I was so disappointed because I could not wait another week, I needed a car now. Plus I was sick of car shopping. I knew what I wanted and I just wanted to buy my car and be done with the whole process! It had taken me a long time to find that car and I knew it wouldn't be easy to find another one that would be available immediately due to the car shortage. And I was right. I couldn't find another Versa in the entire state of MD so I started searching in VA. I called several dealerships in Va, but no one had anything in stock. The earliest ETA I was given was mid April. I was starting to give up hope of finding my car this weekend. Just when I had almost given up hope, I got a call from the Sales Manager Muhammed known as Mo. of Passport Nissan on South Pickett St. Mo told me he had been told by one of his salesmen whose name was also Muhammed that I was looking for a Versa. I said yes I am. He said, well I have one in stock. I said, when you say you have one in stock does that mean its on your lot? He said yes mam I'm looking at it! Then I asked him for an out-the-door-price. The price he gave me was $1400 less that what the dealer in Baltimore was going to sale it to me for! When he gave me the out-the-door price I almost screamed! And when I got off the phone I did scream! I knew I was being ripped off by the Baltimore dealership but I really wanted the car right away so I was willing to pay, but God had other plans! I am a strong woman of faith. I believe God let the ETA change at the Baltimore dealership to lead me to Mo! Mo did not rip me off. He was very honest and fair in his pricing. After he gave me the price I said hold that car don't let go to anyone else and that's exactly what he did! But that's not all he did. When I told him I was traveling from Baltimore to Va by train to pick up the car, he had Muhammed the Salesman drive all the way from the dealership to Union Station in Washington DC to pick me up, IN MY NEW CAR!!!! I was so excited!! Muhammed was very kind. He not only picked me up but let me make a stop on the way back to the dealership. We talked and laughed all the way back. And once I arrived at the dealership I was treated like a queen. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. This dealership is a true example of what it means to not only provide excellent customer service but to also go the extra mile in every way. Honest fair pricing, and excellent customer service! I am so impressed with their service I am considering driving to Virginia to have my car serviced there instead of in Baltimore where I live. If you want a dealership that is honest and fair in pricing and will give you excellent service, I HIGHLY recommend you purchase your vehicle at Passport Nissan 150 S. Pickett St Alexandria Va. Ask for Mo and Mo!!!!! And they have a beautiful sales lady there that is a fashionista!!!
2021 Nissan Rogue review
I was shopping for a used vehicle to replace a Lexus ES 350 that was 11 years old. I was prepared to keep that car forever, but it was totaled in an accident. I went to CARMAX looking for another luxury vehicle, and then I saw this Rogue Platinum. It looked like new, but it was 5 years old with under 40,000 miles on it. It was Pearl White with an Absolute Black top. The exterior had only a small blemish on a rear door, otherwise it was perfect. What sold me on the car was the interior. It was a Saddle-and-Black combination with top-quality leather not found in this class of compact SUVs. Being a Platinum trim level, it had every option one could imagine - more than my old Lexus had. The interior also looked brand new. The car is comfortable, quiet, and brilliantly appointed. I've seen both great and terrible reviews on the Rogue, so I did purchase the CAREMAX extended warranty. I have had the car for only a month. Will it continue to delight me or disappoint me in the months ahead? Time will tell, but I love it now.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2015 Nissan Rogue review
Nissan ROGUE S trim, no sunroof, FWD. 14/15 year model, 7 seater. So, you are here because you are about to buy one and mix of 1 star to 5 star reviews makes you nervous. Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. I knew the guy who drove all possible cars from one auto auction to another around 100k ride on daily basis, and he said, that most comfortable seats only Nissan have among all cars even M, AMG, GTI, R, RS and many other combinations of fancy letters top tier cars. I always saying about my car: I bought comfort and healthy back and I will treat my car as best as I can. If this long text helped you, just pray to your god and be happy 😊

2017 Chevrolet Equinox review
We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

2020 Honda CR-V review
I bought the 2020 CR-V new in July 2020 and as of December 2024, have 39K miles on it. I have taken it to the dealer for regular maintenance. It has been trouble-free and drives very well. If I have one complaint, it's the glitchy infotainment system. I have had to do a factory reset on the infotainment system twice. Otherwise, a wonderful vehicle.
