I live in Sioux Falls and recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Highlander from Walser. I had never purchased a vehicle before that I had not seen or driven. Phillip Sosin walked me through the steps needed to complete this process in a very thorough and polite manner. Not being a (techie) I was worried but everything worked out. I couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle other than I have yet to figure out all of the electronics which my grand kids have been helping me do. The RAV4 Prime is a hybrid-electric vehicle with a bigger battery than the hybrid-electric version of the RAV4. It has Lots of power, all-wheel drive, decent handling along with versatile utility of the compact SUV. This is not an electric vehicle in that the gas engine will operate under certain conditions even though the 'electric mode' has been selected. That said, gasoline usage is reduced if 'electric mode' is used exclusively and the trip distance is less than 35 or 40 miles. My suggestion for Toyota (and anyone else building a "plug-in hybrid") is to increase the battery capacity to 60 miles of electric range. The range-extended electric 2nd Generation Chevy VOLT will deliver around 52 miles of electric range depending on driving and weather conditions and will nearly eliminate gasoline usage for most people. The VOLT electric-drive system is different from the TOYOTA hybrid-drive system. The VOLT will operate as an electric-drive vehicle until either the battery is depleted or the driver selects the "Hold" mode. The car then operates as a gasoline-hybrid-drive and reserves the battery charge for later use as a full-electric drive vehicle. The result of these two different drive systems is that the RAV4 Prime has given us an overall of 100 MPG verses the Gen2 VOLT of 164 MPG. Both have saved considerable gasoline. We recharge regularly at home on Level 1 or Level 2 and almost never 'top-off' at public charging sites. Both have been excellent vehicles with the RAV4 giving more carrying capacity with the trade off of requiring more fuel.

I couldn’t afford car payments anymore and just wanted a car for local driving. So I purchased this car with cash. The 137,000 miles on the car made me nervous. I purchased the car at the end of 2022 and the car so far has been great. I’m trying to reserve mileage because the car already has high mileage but already put around 2000 miles on it and the car runs like a charm with no problems.

Easy to make appointment online - all work requested was done - good communication with service advisor.

High points: Extremely quick, versatile as an off road and ski car as well as classy for nights on the town. Unbelievable range as I have gotten over 50 miles electric equal to some older all electric cars. Low points: My SE model lacks fast charging. Tires squeak loudly at 5 miles per hour, handling when cornering not precise, some interior plastic cheap for a 50k car.

Love this vehicle! I am a older person and really enjoy the features that the RAV4 offers to senior citizens. The ease of driving and parking is a dream with the rear camera screen. NO room for accidents with back up parking. Love the feature of fuel monitoring especially at a stop light it will shut down to conserve fuel and the minute you step on the gas it with take over. I'm all about saving gas!! Tail gate is another fabulous feature, as I am very short and love that it lifts and closes with no assistance. This is my 3rd RAV4 I have owned, by far the best 2022.

I've only had it for a month so far. The only annoying option in the Rav4 is the lane keeping assist. At highway speeds it constantly fights the driver unnecessarily. Otherwise, I'm in love with this vehicle. The MPG is amazing.

Overall a pleasant experience, Jeremiah and Poe were both extremely helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. We never felt pressured to make a decision or felt like we were being rushed. Additionally, they had the entire process streamlined and were able to get everything done rather quickly once we had made our decision.

We had a totally electric Mustang Mach E which we traded for this car since the range and infrastructure both were not ideal. The Toyota RAV4 Prime is the best of both worlds since it is a plug-in hybrid and is the car I should have purchased originally. It gets between 44 - 50 miles on totally electric charge (for around home) and about 500 miles on a fill up of the gas tank (hybrid used on the highway). Pricing was NOT ideal as they added a "Market Adjustment" to the price so it was above MSRP.

The sales representative, Bryan Hopson was excellent. Larry Corbin was too. Inver Grove Toyota should be proud of the staff there. Every one that I was involved in the sale of the car was courtesy and showed pride in working there.

After 2 full days of trying to buy an Audi with cash maplewood Audi dealership didn’t want to sell me one of there cars at all I’m going there to give sales men there a little something for not selling me an overpriced premium gas using fragile cars I say that because Richfield Audi was more concerned about selling packages then autos I’d love to thank them to because I thought I’d stop by Toyota invergrove on way to Richfield and I ran into pou and and right away I knew this is the guy I’m buying from and within a few hour I was driving away a happy camper with a suv getting 40 miles mpg. I’m going to think about these people every gas station I pass for a long long time and then some and everybody knows why because it’s a Toyota. Number one selling anything in the world and most likely all worlds but don’t concern yourself about it there just here because it’s the only place they can get a Toyota lol love and peace to all thank you toyota

Bought used have never regretted it.l...low maintenance...no big problems..only the wheel sensor needs replacing and 02 sensor..not bad for 200 000 plus miles..just keep your oil changed and you'll get great service..runs like a dream..

We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

Great car but my 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited got 42.4 mpg when new but only gets 35 mpg now. I'm 75 y/o and drive the speed limit always. Average 35 to 40 miles per hour. Does anyone know why. Dealer is no help answering this question.

Fun to drive; the electric motor provides great acceleration. The multimedia system can be a nuisance if you mainly want to listen to radio. Fit and finish are excellent.

Really is the perfect do-it-all vehicle. It's both rugged and comfortable and has an extensive suite of tech. The drivetrain is impressive with its 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and full electric mode is outstanding. Out of all the PHEVs, this is most likely the benchmark for the future.

Great car drive and also great to haul just about anything Small to mid sized since the back seats fold all the way down. And it gets good Gas MPG as well.

Bought a Honda Pilot with 300k miles. Still driving it 2 yrs later. Not a single breakdown. Heading to buy another car this week. I see all the negative reviews. They sell used cars. You the buyer should know what to look for.

I miss mine. Bought it about 8 years ago for my son right after college. He drove it everyday until he moved to NY about 3 years ago, then I started driving it about everyday. Only trouble was a battery dying. About 3 weeks ago he moved back and now got it. SAD!!!!!. That car has the quickest pickup and can hang with the best of them for a 4 Cylinder. Toyota should have never stop making this one. Have to give it a five out of 5. I search the used car adds looking for another one.

Bought the solera in 2008 and am very happy with the car / I have 140000 miles on the car and have had only minor maintance. This car will ultimately be a classic.

Drove this '22 Rav4 throughout the US SW for over 3000 miles in 2 weeks without any problems and averaged 30+ mpg. Went through CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM. Pleasant to drive and certainly comfortable enough. I have no complaints at the moment, and it doesn't have the CVT!

08 Solara with 89k. Just had the timing belt and related parts swapped out. I don't think it could run any or any better! Toyota is just not playing fair. This car is 16 years old and shoes no signs of slowing down. Just routine maintenance. Don't forget your timing belt!
