100k miles so far...
Purchased used S 5-speed manual with 33,000 miles on it about four years back. Just passed 100,000 miles last month. Only one problem so far, with the passenger door latch assembly. We get about 37 MPG mixed city and highway, and 45-50 MPG in interstate highway driving. FWD and snow tires work fine here in Wisconsin. The turbo motor and 5-speed provide all of the acceleration one will *actually* need, and also provide those great economy numbers. As part of the Golf platform, it's a solid car and the handling is good. The ride comfort is also good, maybe enhanced by the taller 16" tires on the S version. Simple controls, without an overly complicated radio / info system. Manual ventilation controls (knobs) are a huge plus. With the rear seats down, it has about the same cargo space as our 2009 Subaru Outback: little narrower but also a little longer. Good outward visibility. Driver seat can get a little tiring after a long drive (4 hours or more) but it's comparable with other highway vehicles we've owned. Reasonably quiet inside considering it's essentially an economy vehicle. A very nice economy vehicle, though. We like it enough that we're considering getting another one before there are no more good wagons in the market.

Just had our Cayenne in for its required service and we were treated wonderfully as usual. The whole process was smooth and effortless. We dropped our car off and was given a loaner within a few minutes and was back on our way. We were updated with the service process and we were called when they promised to have our car returned. We wouldn?t take our vehicle anywhere else for service!

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years
Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Multiply that by 3 cars and a full year, and the numbers quickly add up. Maintenance Savings Beyond the fuel savings, the Bolt EVs don’t need oil changes, transmission services, or exhaust system repairs. Brake wear is minimal thanks to regenerative braking. For us, the maintenance costs dropped to little more than tire rotations (free at Discount Tire), washer fluid and cabin air filters. Final Thoughts Switching to the Chevy Bolt has been a financial win and a stress reliever. Charging at home is as easy as running a kitchen appliance, and the cost per mile is dramatically lower. With three Bolts in the household, the yearly savings of $6,000–$7,000 speak for themselves, that over $40,000 in savings!

Very Reliable, comfortable, nice riding car.
The Mercury Sable is essentially a Ford Taurus with minor variations, mostly to the exterior styling. I find it a very comfortable, dependable, and practical car, an excellent value for the money. The roomy back seat and very large trunk space are great for family trips or transporting lots of stuff. The 3-liter V6 200 hp engine is well known for its dependability and longevity, many exceeding 200,000 miles. A very fine American made vehicle.

Amerr is a great salesman.
Amerr is a great salesman. The best I ever dealt with. He assisted me throughout the whole sales experience. He was very patient with me. He delivered the car within a very reasonable time and it arrived as expected. This was a very satisfying and great sales experience. I can’t say enough good things about Ameer. I would recommend him and Hybrid and Gas for car sales anytime.
Best Bang for the Buck
I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

I visited this dealer in search of a newer truck to replace my 1998 Frontier, got off to a bit of a rocky start, but in the end things worked out great. I highly recomend doing business with this dealership, the people are nice and really work for the customer.
Great little car
These things are cheap, fast, spacious, and reliable. Mine has nearly 300,000 miles and is still going strong. —The Good— The interior is quiet, and well designed. The seats are comfortable and it seats up to 7 if you get a wagon with jump seats. All models have power windows, some have power seats or even a sunroof. The 740 is also by far one of the safest cars of its era, featuring airbags, antilock brakes, crumple zones, and rollover protection. The 160 hp turbo 4 in my wagon is the perfect amount of power to get itself up to speed and then some. The bulletproof AW71 automatic transmission is a great way to send the power to the rear wheels. It’s also a perfect city car because of its rubber shock mounted bumpers, and a turning circle smaller than a modern corolla. As a side note, with a small amount of modification to the turbo control system, these things can be made to really fly. —The Bad— They can have clogged engine ventilation systems, which can cause somewhat substantial oil leaks. There is also a suspension component (control arm bushing) that often needs replacing. In addition to the aforementioned issues, these cars’ reputation for reliability can work against them. Some owners neglect regular service, as they believe these cars don’t need to be taken care of. While there is some truth in that, the car will not last as long, or be as reliable as a well maintained one. A driveway tune up is easy with an afternoon’s work, some basic tools and a bit of mechanical know how. You can get a neglected Volvo back up to tip top shape quite easily, on your own dime no less, saving hundreds of dollars in service costs. What’s not fixable on your own (without replacement), is cracks in cast iron components. The turbo housing tends to crack on pre 1990 cars, and the manifold cracks on post 1990 cars. There are companies that can fix cracked parts, so that you don’t have to shell out hundreds for a replacement. None of these issues will keep it from being driven every day though, it’s just ideal to get them fixed for optimum performance The only other thing I can think of is that the AC systems aren’t the most reliable. However, despite being designed for r12 (Freon, outdated illegal refrigerant), they can use modern r134a without significant modification. All in all, I’d recommend one of these to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to get your family around safely, anyone who wants to know they’re gonna get where they’re going, anyone who wants to go fast on a budget, anyone who values being able to do their own work, I could go on. I love my car, and you’d be hard pressed to find someone who owns one and didn’t love it too.

Outback
We drove the car for 11 years & the only thing we did was change the oil/filter & replaced the tires. I believe there were three recalls. Two of which were air bags on the passenger side. Great vehicle with excellent mpg. One of the best cars that we've ever owned. We didn't purchase another one due to the tow capacity limit.

The very best car, ever
Beyond the sleek styling, the Allroad is amazing in adverse weather. When cars are spinning off the road or hydroplaning, this Audi muscles it’s way through. In addition, with the fold-down seats, it operates like a little truck, holding futons, bicycles, whatever.
