2020 BMW 228 Gran Coupe review
I had a 330i before I got the 228i. I wasn’t completely happy with the 330 & when my lease was up my salesman told me to test drive the 228. I loved it almost immediately. I love the style & options inside in the cockpit. The technical options r easier to operate. Love the extended sunroof too!

The dealership is great. The car I bought is great. I have only one problem. The car comes with only one key. They program your phone and give you a card. Sounds great except when you go to valet park and your (not in the car) wife has the key. You can't give the valet your phone and they have no place to hang a card on their rack. In Florida this is a real problem. Every car should come with 2 keys. Had I known before I purchased the car that it came with only one key I would have insisted on a second key in order to complete the purchase. Bad policy on BMW's part to save money on the cost of a key in the purchase of a luxury auto.

I was notified of the progress on my vehicle through text messages and a video link and was updated throughout the process. I decided to have an oil change to boot. . On the courtesy ride home, I happen to mention that I forgot my lunch in the backseat of the car and it was packed in ice so is probably OK. My courtesy card driver got on his phone and called the dealership to ask them to move the car inside out of the sun. This gesture was so kind and did not seem out of place at all for the type of service I received.

It is beautiful, high technology, very fast, easy to drive, everything inside is perfectly made! It is 228 but feels like 320. It is not much smaller.
