They fixed it and it was a way less expensive repair than I was thinking with my self diagnosis. They also went out of tehor way to ensure I was satisfied. I actually ended up taking 2 vehicles their, neither of which were their "brand" as I was that happy with the wholes process. This was a vastly better experience than I have had at other dealerships that are closer to me. I would highly recommend them for about any make/model! They cured the skeptic in me.

2023 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
So far so good with the 2023 Elantra hybrid Limited, which I bought three weeks ago. MPG is very good, averaging 45 to 50 around town and 60 a couple of times for extended highway drives. Be advised, though, that the way to get the better figures is always to use the normal driving mode. Don't think, as I did at first, that the smart driving mode will get you the higher MPGs. The one complaint I have is that visibility is not so good out the rear window, though of course there's the rear view camera. Also, I'd have liked a way to get the camera rear view to take up the whole display area, rather than the right side of it always being devoted to something else. Can't speak to reliability, because of the short time I've had the car, but all the tech and safety features seem to work well. All in all, the car seems to provide very good value for the money if you can get one at a reasonable price. For a while, dealers were tacking on thousands of extra dollars as a market adjustment, though seemingly not so much anymore.
