After being a Subaru Forester owner for 15 years and ten years with my last model, it was time for me to purchase a new vehicle. Mike Maniscalchi introduced himself and we found him to be both personable, and knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicles. He took the time to listen to a 60+ senior to try to place me in my perfect vehicle. Though I loved the Forester, I thought that our live style had changed and we could pursue other Subaru vehicles. Believe me when I say that I think I drove every vehicle type Subaru stocked. Liked the size and feel of the Subaru Crosstrek but could not get beyond the orange stitching they use in the interior. It drove like the Forester and had a sleek look and still offered the hatch. Unfortunately, the 2018 Forester had gone through some exterior and interior modifications, and it was not for me. We were at the dealership for the better part of the afternoon and evening. All the time we were there, Mike was as attentive as he was the first moment we arrived trying to work with me to find the "perfect" vehicle for me. By now I was so confused ( 6 pm)I wanted to call it a day! Mike never pressured us and if we needed to take a break and return the next day Mike would have been fine with that and would have greeted us the next day with a smile! My husband has a 2015 fully-equipped Subaru Legacy and in the back of my mind as far as features were concerned, I guess I wanted what he had in a different model. Though I still preferred the 8.7 road clearance offered by the Forester. Intuitively, Mike understood this and asked me if I wanted to drive the Outback. Much to my surprise, i liked how it drove, interior and road clearance worked also. Being seniors, we did have a budget and finally came to an agreement that fit our budget and I purchased the 2018 Outback Subaru. Additionally, he also spent all the time I needed when reviewing the features of my vehicle when I picked it up. Beyond satisfied with the entire Subaru experience. Ask for Mike when it is your turn to purchase a Subaru. He is patient, knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable, interested in what you want, and if it takes hours to find you the perfect vehicle...he will! As you know the financing paperwork can be challenging and "painful". Kevin was great to work with and made the experience as painless as possible...he was friendly and personable. Both Mike and Kevin were awesome.

Amazing sedan for the snow! Drives well. Great features. Really the only thing that’s missing for me is the automatic lock once the car is in drive and moving. You have to remember to lock the doors. Otherwise, I love it!

Bought a 2007 Forester from Vernon Auto in September. It was no pressure purchase. Al let me take my time making the decision. The AC compressor was shot and it was replaced before pick-up. About 3 weeks after taking delivery one of the transmission cooler lines blew. The car was towed back to Vernon Auto. They fixed the line without any questions at no charge. Since then I have periodically taken the Forester (and my other cars) to them for service. They have been fair and provide good service. It was a high mileage vehicle when we bought at about 160,000. It's needed few things here and there, but we have put about 50,000 miles on it over the past 27 months -- with just a few reports. My only complaint about the Forester purchase was the car had not been cleaned very well before pick-up. When I'm in the market for another car I'll be giving Vernon Auto a chance to earn repeat business.

Talk about a sleek car with available iSight camera system that helps ensure the safety of everyone in the vehicle. Comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Automatic braking to avoid front end collion. Reverse camera with automatic braking and sensors to alert you of oncoming objects usually not in your immediate view when reversing. The day time running lamps are the sharpest looking thing on the road, I prefer them over my BMW LED day time running lamps. In terms of comfort you have all premium leather heated seats with a wood grain front panel that gives off a modern style. Steering wheel paddle shifters with AWD give you superb control. Keyless entry and push to start engine means you can quickly get in and go! Has the new shark fin antenna that flows with the vehicle. First review I've ever written in regards to a car buying experience but I feel impelled to do so in this case. Firstly this is not, as so many obviously are, a fake review. I not unlike you read all the reviews and on many sites they were obvious fakes by the sales people. My team, and they are a team, of Jason in sales and Jason in finance were no pressure sales professionals. It took me about 5 minutes to make a decision on buying a car from this group. Don't get me wrong, I did my homework, shopped around, met some slime balls and some decent guys that " Just couldn't do any better on price". Do yourself a favor and check these guys out. I've been around, bought dozens of cars, wish I found these guys first.

This is my second Subaru. I never expected that I would be able to afford one, but the prices were reasonable - even better than most comparable vehicles. The ride is exceptional, especially in inclement weather. It is the most luxurious ride for this size car and I still can't believe it is only 4 cylinders! Once you test drive a Subaru you won't want to drive anything else.

I drove this 15 Legacy Premium for a year now, bought it certified used, with 60000 miles on it, I put 20000 in one year and had 3 major brake downs with the car: 1) oil seals were leaking and needed replaced 2) transmission valve body needed replacement Both luckily were covered by warranty 3) starter was loose and needed to be re tighten that was not covered by warranty Other than that the car does give good gas mileage, drives well, and has good features. I’m glad I had the certified used but I can’t imagine buying this car with no warranty

I bought a third car from A Better Way, since my first two cars (Mazda3 and VW TDI) had zero problems and have put 100k+ miles total on them(TDI was recalled by VW:huge windfall). Although, this vehicle needed to be brought back to their service center(under their 3,000 mile warranty) to have a few minor issues fixed. The problems were fixed in a timely manner and were all covered by the dealership's warranty. Gave me a different insight into this dealership: the service center. All the employees there were polite, fixed the minor issues quickly, and kept me up to date on its status. I worked with Lya when I purchased my car. She was great to work with, and had amazing patience when my insurance company had problems faxing over the binder, which came after the dealership closed! I would recommend Lya and her partner, Miriam, if your looking to purchase a vehicle the better way!

Engine and mileage troubles

It's a pretty little car. I got the white. It does have excellent outboard visibility which was important to me . The seats are comfortable and I wanted it for the safety ranking, the AWD and the visibility all of which are as promised. It is the smallest car I've had in 40 years but has room for what I need at my age. However it did not get better than 19 mpg city and highway and they had to put a new engine in it. Now it is averaging 24 and can get 32 on the hwy in favorable conditions. I like the heated sets on the lowest setting and am happy to have the back up camera although it is nearly useless after dark-very blurry. I think it accelerates fast enough. I am not happy to not have retained auxiliary power which I thought was standard on something at this price : $26,0000. It is a huge nuisance to have to turn the car back on to close the sunroof or roll a window up or down, The sound system is horribly overcomplicated. Too many unneeded warning indicators which are pretty tiny and take research to figure out.I like the driver info center. I'm getting older and would prefer a car with fewer rather than more features. I had to search hard to find one with a compass , which I still find useful and essential but it is placed-way up in a corner of the rearview mirror. Should be on the dash somewhere to be really useful. The salesforce and the mechanics are very responsive and the car is generally well made. They fixed the engine without complaint. So they get points for that. I just think it is complicated in ways that are not helpful.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. I really enjoy almost everything about the car. It drives well, good features, good mileage for AWD. I wish the body was not so low to the ground ( easy to scrape on curbs etc ) but I want a sedan and it seems all sedans now are low like this one nowadays.

This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

After purchasing a 2006 Subaru Forester regrettably from another dealership who would not address a service issue on an advertised feature. I came upon your dealership from Subaru parts ct on the web and saw that your location was convenient to my home so I ordered the part I was looking for on your website. I received notice the next day that the parts was available for my pickup. When I went to the parts counter I was greeted by people who knew what I needed and were able to supply me not only with the part but with the drawings and information necessary for me to painlessly get the parts changed and functioning properly. I also ordered another part special order and again the part came join on time and with all the information I needed to perform the installation with no issues. And the parts from Suburban Subaru are over 10% less expensive that the other Subaru dealership who wouldn't help me out fixing the problem that they sold me. Thanks to Suburban Subaru parts and service personel I now know the way to the best Subaru dealer in Connecticut. Thanks guys

Previously owned a 2007 Acura RL. My Subaru Legacy 3.6R gives me more performance and a smoother ride. Has every feature I wanted. The Eyesight safety feature is awesome. Other cars I test drove did not come close. So impressed we purchased a new Subaru Impreza for our Grandaugher with Eyesight. Previously owned Honda products.

I love the look, performance, features, comfort and reliability. I have owned VW's, Ford Pinto, Audi Fox, Honda Accord, Toyota Tercel, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala and a 1942 Pontiac that was a gift from an old neighbor who went into a Nursing Home in 1964. I had the most fun in the '42 but my Legacy is by far the nicest car I have ever owned.

Let me start this review by saying that I've been a Subaru owner going on a decade and a half. That being said, I knew exactly what I wanted in my new WRX and searched far and wide to find it. Having abandoned almost all hope of finding a manual base model in WRB, short of ordering from my local dealer (where I was quoted a 3-4 month wait and having to pay the sticker price), I happened upon Premier's website after broadening my search. They had a 2017 WRX in WRB with two options: a vortex generator and a short throw shifter at over $1,300 and change below MSRP. Bear in mind this was one of about a dozen WRX and STI models they had listed, all below MSRP. After I decided to buy the car, my salesperson, Jeff, and the business manager, Rob, didnt try to push any extra warranties or "deals" beyond mentioning that they we were available. All in all, this was a great car buying experience and well worth the long drive.

Unless you like to stay up at night reading your Subaru Legacy manual, you may never get the hang of this car. We lease it. Really hard to figure out the settings for window operations, radio, air conditioner (but NO heater), headlight setting, door functions (which doors you gotta open first in order to open other doors), how to get the darn trunk open. So many things. Overr-designed. Too much dashboard disboard distraction. Plus, you can never leave the radio on and open the door (buzzers go off). One must leave the engine on if you want to listen to the radio, open or close a window. I've always had Sirius in previous cars and had no difficulties. Legacy radio display is horrifically complex. Hard to set favorites. Worst of all, you cannot readily know when you are out of gas. My old Volvo used to give me a digital readout on how many miles were left before I'd run out of gas. Really helped me gauge when to stop and refuel. In the Legacy, you can read the meter and think you're okay and then suddenly you see the Orange alert. I tend tonot kno get nervous not knowing approximately how many miles I can drive before I run out completely. In short, the Subaru drives very well, looks pretty good, but is not designed to be user friendly. If you don't like reading manuals in order to listen to a car radio, you'll be irritated often. And the temptation to try to figure these things out WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING is a danger that absolutely must be avoided. I'd love to have a talk with the dashboard designer!
