2025 Ford Ranger review
Great truck, here are the highlights: time-proven 2.3 turbo engine with tuning potential, overbuilt 10R80 transmission which is shared with the larger F-150, comfortable interior, excellent features, even on the STX/XL trim, roomy 4-door interior. Highly recommend this truck!

2020 Ford Ranger review
I have a 2020 and absolutely love it. I pull a fishing boat and a 24’ Harris pontoon boat. You literally can’t tell they are back there. The 2024 is awesome but they are a lot more expensive. Maybe one day!

My wife and I were in the market to purchase my son a pre-owned jeep, and we wanted something that was already fixed up so we found TCD. They had a great selection to choose from. Once we arrived at the dealership you could tell that this was going to be different than any other car buying experience we've had. Jack was first to introduce himself. He was not a fast-talking silver tongue devil like a "like i probably was" stereotypical car salesman that you might be used to. He was a quiet young man that spoke at the right time and when it was necessary. He listens to our wants and needs and never asked us to remind him over and over! It was a subtle character quality that he possessed, and I didn't think too much about it while we were there, but it was a refreshing quality Jack was very knowledge about the vehicle as well. The vehicle we were interested in was a new trade in, so it wasn't quite ready, so I tell you this to say the way the dealership as a whole jumped in to help get the vehicle sales floor ready, was awesome! You could tell that this wasn't their first rodeo! Next was Tina the GM this gal was on top of her game. Very sweet and accommodating but you could tell on the other side of that coin was a savvy tough businesswoman that was going to be fair but by no means going to be taken advantage of! She settled my early onset buyer's remorse that i could feel brewing with transparency. Mo finished up our car deal and was also the finance guy! I loved that cause once we came to an agreement, we shook hand and started banging out paperwork! Mo was an awesome dude very knowledgeable with all the different extended warranties packages which i never did until we bought our last used vehicle and needed to use it on the way home from the dealer. We were in and out in no time. Lastly the Owner Austin! how cool is it for the owner of the dealership to make himself available to his customers. He personally helped my wife and I with whatever we needed or questions we had. It was nice not to have to wait for a salesman to run ask the manager a question then run back with and answer! By the time he got back I probably had 3 or 4 more question to send him running back with! lol Austin was personable and kind! Which was a breath of fresh air this day in time. This was also after the dealership had closed on a Sat night! A few things that are small but can make or break a car deal is that they had fresh free hotdogs cooking all day with 5 or 6 different flavors of soda pop obviously coffee with one of those fancy coffee makes with different flavors of coffee and cappuccino, clean bathrooms and something as a parent and someone that used to sale cars they had a nice selection of boys and girls toys! if you've ever tried to purchase a car with a bored toddler forget about it! the salesman can feel the words we're going to have to come back without the kids. that's how the dealership down the street with toys just made your customer their latest car buyer! Shout out to Scot and Bryan as well! They weren't involved in my car deal but did a good job at making us feel welcome and at ease! Sorry about them Aggie's buddy! I would recommend #texascarone to any and every one that's in the market for a vehicle especially a young couple that might be first time buyers. 2021 Ford Ranger review
After being an F150 owner for 19 years, I never thought I'd be happy with downsizing. I was right, I am ecstatic! I bought this used with 30k miles on it, but it looks and feels brand new. Solid, extremely comfortable, and the 2.3 turbo way out performs my 4.6 by a mile. Really did nit want a car pmt but it is so worth it. I love driving again.

2022 Ford Ranger review
The reviews of others about the Ranger is that it is a little underwhelming and yawning. Most frequently the interior is ragged on. It’s a truck cabin. It works and looks nice. What are others expecting, a mini theater, heads up display, and dance lights? It’s fine and I’ve seen other interiors of rival trucks. Guess what, they’re not much different. The cabin is nice, roomy, comfortable, and functional for a midsize truck. Now the outside. It’s a nice looking truck. Spray in bed liner, almost looks leveled as it is. Off road capable just like the Taco. Gas mileage better than most of the other midsized trucks. 4 cylinder turbocharged Ecoboost is more capable and faster than the others V6’s and tows more. So basically we have a truck that outperforms most of the other rivals in most categories and it gets an underwhelming review?! I say No Way, it’s a Great truck!

2009 Ford Ranger review
My ranger was purchased used, it replaces my 97 Ranger which I owned for 20 yrs til it was totalled @ 370,000 miles. Only major component failure was rear end dif at approximately 200,000 miles and it still ran strong at time of wreck. Prompting me to set my sights on another Ranger to buy. My 2009 is 2.3l (as was my 97) w/auto trans (97 was manual), owned now for 2.5yrs I have to say I'm VERY surprised at the 09's performance which I expected to be a bit sluggish compared to my 97 as it was a reg cab and the 09 is supercab (which should weigh more?) but happy to report that I'm loving my 09 even more. This truck accelerates very well and seems to be cut from the same cloth as my 97 which was the most reliable ride I've owned and at age 60 I've owned more than a few. Before I reach my limit of 500 words, I'm a big fan of the Ranger: easy to maintain, fun driving, handles much like a sports car, looks great with a little customization, I could go on, but you get the idea!

2026 Ford Ranger review

2019 Ford Ranger review
This truck Is the best purchase I have ever made. My first truck was a '79 F350, then I sold that to get a Crosstrek but I quickly realized I needed a bigger vehicle so I started looking at mid sized trucks and the 4Runner. The 2019 lariat Fx4 with 50k miles on it cost me the same amount as a base model 2015 tacoma with over 100k miles so to me the decision was easy to make. I needed to take this truck to move me and all my stuff entirely across the country from San Diego, up to the Canadian boarder in Glacier National Park, and then to chapel hill North Carolina. Not once did this truck give me any issues and I took it on multiple challenging off-road trails in moab and even completed one jeep trail. (although the jeep trail left me with my first ding on the back bumper) It absolutely blew me away to say the least. Never had issues passing like some tacomas often do, and the adaptive cruise control and lane assist worked excellent. I have a bulged disk in my lower back so its very hard for me to find a comfortable seat for long drives but even after days of 14 hours behind the wheel, I had absolutely no back pain so I felt more than ready to attack the hikes on the trip unlike my subaru. I cannot say enough good things about this truck. Its tough, extremely comfortable, powerful for a 4cyl, great on gas compared to all other midsize trucks, and gave me absolutely ZERO issues while being pushed to its limits both off road and on long journeys. If you're in the market for a midsize truck, you're doing yourself a disservice to not take a good hard look at this truck.

2020 Ford Ranger review
I have replaced my 2010 Ford Ranger XL for a 2020 Ranger XL and have found all of the improvements well worth it. I did install a third party Cruise Control and a Tonneau Cover and the truck runs great at highway speed for long distances with plenty of comfort. I wanted a Supercab for its 6.1 foot bed as I do not carry passengers and the space behind the seats is more than adequate for cargo. Having hands free blue tooth phone, rear backup camera shows up in rear view mirror, bed liner, allows USB sticks to play my considerable music collection and 4 wheel drive are all features I didn't have but wanted. This is a work truck with creature comforts that improve its usefulness. It not only looks great, it works well for my yard project hauling and street driving that make up my mileage. The former owner also added towing package. running boards and black letters on back of tailgate. I purchased this vehicle with only 56,000 miles on it. Spent time reading about pros/cons of this model and for how I use a truck and the specs that it has, it fulfills all of my needs without exception.

2026 Ford Ranger review
I purchase a 2019 Ranger and then a 2024 Ranger. Zero issues with problems and the comfort, power, and reliability are all top notch. The 10-speed transmission has been a dream with the turbo. My wife has a King Ranch F-150 but usually takes the Ranger because of the ease of driving in town. 24 to 28 MPG based on computer.

I bought a Ranger Raptor. Incredible pickup, handles more like a tall sport car than a truck. Very comfortable to drive with multiple steering option, shock setting and exhaust note. Fun to drive around town and on super highways. Increasable value for all the options you get.

All the bad reviews are people either not doing business with them or don’t understand that it’s a used vehicle. Lily insisted for us to take it to a mechanic. We did just that. Sure it needed some items like any used vehicle but we ended up buying it. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

2024 Ford Ranger review
This is my 6th ford ranger over the last 20+ years and this ranger is by far the best one yet. I've never bought one brand new before but the power and comfortability of this truck is so much higher than previous models. The gas mileage isn't the best (18 mpg) but for a fx4 it's not terrible. I have taken it through all kinds of terrain with zero issues. Very glad I went ranger over tacoma.

2023 Ford Ranger review
The Ranger is a great light duty pickup for urban use. The 4-cyl 2.3L Turbo engine is plenty strong and gets great MPG at highway speeds. Around town I get right at 20 MPG, but at highway speeds it is closer to 28 MPG. It also tows my 3,000 lb boat with ease and gets 1 5 - 18 MPG while doing so. I would have liked a 6' bed, but Ford right-sized this vehicle for those that don't need a full-sized pickup.

2024 Ford Ranger review
I've owned a 2020 ford ranger with 2.3 ecoboost and upgraded to the 2024 ford ranger with the 2.7L ecoboost. Both engines are stout. I enjoy the 2.7L alittle better. Truck is very quick in either set up. So far zero issues. I think steering feels alittle heavy but other than that I bought this truck because of the seats and how comfortable it is on long distance trips. Deos everything I need it to plus they are fun to drive.

I downsized from a 2013 F-150, great truck, because I didn’t need a full size truck anymore. I was hesitant to go to a smaller vehicle but after a year and 11k miles I am a believer! Comfort, economy, performance and ease of parking and maneuverability. No regrets! I get lots of compliments too.

2024 Ford Ranger review
I drove all the Mid-size Trucks in January. For me at 5' 10" @ 170lbs. with a bad back, the 2024 Ford Ranger was the one I bought. Never owned a Ford. Have owned 5 Toyotas and hated the newest Gen. Tacoma. The Ranger 2.3L Turbo is proven (10 plus years now) and I like this 10 speed Auto. Getting 21-22 mpg around Town and hit 27 mpg on the Highway going 80 mph. Sweet. Best Interior of anything I drove. The Seats sealed the deal for me though with this bad back of mine. Amazing. This is the cheapest Ranger I could find in a 4X4 with Tow Package at $38500.00 sticker price. Paid $36 ish. Your opinion may vary, but don't rule out a Ford Ranger. 2 months in I know I made the right decision................

2021 Ford Ranger review
I recently traded in my 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD for a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat Black Package and have never looked back. I love all the safety features (back-up camera, blind spot detection, collision detection) plus the conveniences of remote start (from key or phone), heated seats, rain-detection windshield wipers, navigation, etc. I also was surprised by the better than advertised gas mileage and towing capaciy. Currently, the vehicle gets about 25 mpg on the highway, which is significantly better than the 2016 Tacoma. The vehicle can also tow up to 7500 lbs which is pretty awesome for a small truck. The truck has had no mechanical issues (so far) but I purchased the truck new and it has only 11k miles. I would encourage anyone interested in a smaller truck (Tacoma, Frontier, Canyon, etc.) to test drive the Ranger.

2025 Ford Ranger review
I bought a 25 Ranger Raptor in March 25. Best most fun vehicle I have ever driven. Rear coil springs give a very compliant ride without the harshness of leaf springs. Very powerful engine, smooth ride, easy to maneuver, highly adjustable directly from the steering wheel.

Has more than enough power .when I need it it's got it .don't like the fact that a 2019 should have this problem with the heater and air or the fuel gage .but the brown pills do happen .plus do you need a Vin number for the heater. 2025 Ford Ranger review
Drove every mid-size PU truck available. The Ranger Lariat won hands down. More room, better ride, and more power than the Tacoma. I read many of the pro reviews and totally agree, the 2025 Ranger is the best mid-size truck on the market. The V6 will blow you away.

I was a little undecided I didn't know how a truck would handle because we've only had suvs and midsize cars I didn't know its comfort performance but when we had it oh god it's the best of the best I'm super happy with it even my wife is super happy too she drives more than me lol it is a very good option I definitely recommend it, ford forever
