2021 RAM 1500 review
One of the best trucks I’ve ever owned. I wanted the 5.7 hemi, but wasn’t sold on the e torque. After driving it for awhile, I’m totally in love with it! 395 hp and 410 ft lbs of torque. This thing is great!!

2021 RAM 1500 review
I bought a 2021 classic 1500 4x2 quad cab with 5.7 Gas engine. There were 2 rear differential axle gear ratio options, mine has the “hiway gear” but the truck pulls with plenty of power, I think most had that gear for fuel economy. I don’t like the idea that if I open the drivers door while in motion , a transmission brake applies and abruptly stops the vehicle. I was parking in a very tight spot and cracked. The door open and to my surprise, , the truck jerked to a sudden stop. I personally do not care for the dash knob to select the gear, it’s another electronic component that can fail, which in fact has failed . in other trucks. The 5.7 Liter engine was designed with the oil filter to be very difficult to reach , almost as if designed ‘outside ‘ the chassis without realizing once ‘in’ the chassis, the oil filter became extremely difficult to reach to replace .

When my daughter's truck was totaled, we went back to the same dealership and had not the best experience, what a difference 2 years made! So she decided to look at different vehicles and different dealerships. We literally ran the gamut in a three-hour circle from our home checking out different vehicles and dealerships. Walt Massey was the ONLY one that gave us a number for the vehicle out the door, and STUCK with that number, who were willing to sit down and discuss finance options after we had reached that out-the-door number, who found extra cash discounts, for us thru Ford (WITHOUT changing that out the door price), and who treated us like buyers, not illiterate women. It was refreshing to have a female sales person, to get treated like adults, and to walk away with the truck my daughter wanted, equipped the way SHE wanted, at a price below msrp and that made everyone happy! The experience left us wanting to share about this dealership (and we've sent 4 people that way already!)! We can't recommend Walt Massey enough!

Spend the extra money for leather and heated and cooled seats . It’s well worth it . Have loved my Ram after upgrading to a Laramie from a 2008 Ram st . Back seat has plenty of room . Seats fold up to allow you to put groceries in .
