Mcgrath Evanston Subaru review
McGrath Subaru is the best .. From the moment I spoke to a gentleman called Jeff Goldman until the day I walked in and bought my first Subaru I was overwhelmed with the professional and welcoming staff. Everything went smoothly and no pressure from anyone for any reason. I can't Thank Jeff for all his help and then Jeanette also. Both were amazing people and such a pleasure to deal with ..would recommend this dealership time and time again !!

I love this car. Could use a little more leg room… and some of the door trim could match better, but overall, the car is absolutely amazing!

My eTron’s SOS system module was malfunctioning, and I took the car into Audi of Westmont, where they had it replaced the very same day. What more could I ask for?
2010 Subaru Outback review
THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!

Sunrise ChevroletReviews
Sunrise Chevrolet review
I open up this review with a smile on my face. When I arrived and heading to the showroom, I was met by a person with a very warm and energetic greeting, Sales Specialist, Elia Secretary, a Professional Gentleman in so many ways. I can tell from the tone of his voice and his handshake that he was determined to make my experience a worthy one. I never felt like I belonged as I did at SUNRISE CHEVROLET. Although, I did get a formal invitation to come in and view a new and special vehicle by their Internet Sales Manager, Patricia Wales, but, Sales Specialist, Elias Secretary made the trip worthwhile. I never thought it would be so inviting as it was to step into a well tuned and comfortable environment as it was there at 414 E. North Ave. Glendale Heights. IL. 60139. And sitting at the desk as I waited for my finale results, I could hear conversations of the(Manager)Wizard behind the curtain as he orchestrated every step until everything came together. The joy of purchasing a vehicle from this Dealership was like no other. SUNRISE CHEVROLET(of 27 years)is here to find and place you in the perfect vehicle. So, if you're here to purchase a new or used vehicle, you've come to the right Dealership. Nicholas

Great place. Up front honesty and not pushy at all. I would definitely return to purchase a vehicle here again.
2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

Bill Jacobs BMW review
Recently servicing my vehicle with Bill Jacob’s. My advisor Alex Flinn made it very enjoyable.
2021 Subaru Outback review
My family has owned Subarus for a very long time, starting in the late 90's with my parents, an 89 Legacy L wagon, then a 2005 Outback XT, continuing with my wife and I. Our last Subaru, a 2002 Legacy GT wagon (a pretty rare car here in the US, even the Subaru-crazy Portland-metro area) was stolen during Covid. We went Subaru-less until June 8 2026, when we picked up the 45000 mile 2021 Outback XT Limited. The Limited trim is one rung below the top-trim Touring XT and above the Onxy XT. For the curious, XT= the turbo engine version, which I HIGHLY recommend if you actually enjoy driving your car like I do (and other perks). Why did we choose the Limited XT over a truck or another SUV/crossover? 1) The styling. Love it or hate it, wagons are just cool. They've grown on me. It's just different from everything else on the road. 2) I like the carlike ride, driving dynamics, comfort, but the SUV-like interior space, ground clearance and driving position (OB's have 8.7 inches of ground clearance). The Limited trim is the best one in my opinion because you get upgraded interior sound-deadening (thicker window glass, more insulation), upgraded stereo (which sounds awesome), and memory for the driver seat (2 presets). Here's what I like: It's a Subaru without the Subaru quirks from prior generations. It's quiet inside. Just as quiet or more than our Volvo XC90 V8. Even the 2019 3.6R Touring we test drove was noisier inside. The ride is very smooth. Seats are very comfortable for long-hauls. Vancouver, WA to Bend, OR and no aches or pains or cramps. Handling is also good, better than a SUV. This isn't nimble like a Miata or Honda Civic, but for a 3900 lb car it's great. The powertrain. I love the 2.4 turbo engine. It's smooth, quiet, and makes all its torque by 2000 RPM. The non-turbo Outback gets along okay without the 2.5 non-turbo, but the XT makes a huge difference when you want it. It's much faster than the 3.6R it replaced and gets better fuel economy. Personally, unless you want the extra fuel economy, there's no reason not to get the XT. Fuel economy? Highway cruising 70-75 mph is 28 mpg. Pulling grades or a load of gear drops it to 27 mpg. Heavy-footed driving in town and the mileage is rough at times: I saw a low 17.5 once, but it's usually 22 to 23 in town if I keep my foot out of it (that's hard). Here's what I'm not sold on after over a month of ownership. The CVT: If you're coming from only driving conventional automatics, there's a learning curve on how to drive it smoothly. Smooth is the keyword. let the transmission do the work. You can paddle shift it, but it's better to leave it in D. The power delivery could be better. Again, it's a CVT. Off the line foot to the floor and there's a waiting period before it goes. However, like 30 to 80 mph is wild! Like 3 seconds, and onramps are fun! Again, fuel economy isn't fantastic, real-world mixed driving is 22-23 mpg. The infotainment system: Starlink will require getting used to. None of our cars have ever had one, so it's not a big deal for me, but someone used to one may have moments of frustration with the lag and slow response to inputs. Just be patient and it gets bearable over time. Android Auto is USB tether-only along with CarPlay. It works fine, but again...laggy. The display washes out some in sunlight, so you may have to turn the dimmer up. I had to make a habit of turning off auto stop start as soon as I start the engine now. I despise auto stop-start! Whose idea was that anyway? So, should you get a Gen 6 Outback. Yes. The Gen 7's are what I consider blasphemy for Subie folks like me...they now look like everything else on the road, but that's here nor there. I really like the XT and it will be our car for a good while.

I've known the service manger, Marc Kubil, for almost 20 years. I can't think of anyone more capable and trustworthy. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are competently satisfied. Robert Fellows is also outstanding, as is Jamir Garcia. At Volvo Oak Park, I'm treated like family, and have received consistently great service.
2022 Subaru Outback review
Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

I just bought my 4th Hyundai. It is a 2025 Hybrid Tucson and I couldn't be happier. Mayweather Shorter is my sales specialst and the most awesome. Even though it was a long process from beginning to end, everything went smoothly. Mayweather explained how to work all the bells and whistles and what every button was. Thank you so much Family Hyundai. Mrs. B. Wicks
2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

Laurel BMW of WestmontReviews
Laurel BMW of Westmont review
I recently purchased a used Mazda from Laurel BMW of Westmont, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. What really stood out was the straightforward approach. There were no unnecessary upsells or attempts to pressure me into buying additional products or services. Everything was explained clearly, and the communication throughout the process was excellent. A special thank-you to Vesna, who was fantastic to work with. She was professional, responsive, and made the entire buying process easy and as stress-free as possible. I truly appreciated her honesty and communication. I would highly recommend Laurel BMW to anyone looking for a vehicle. Even though I purchased a used Mazda rather than a BMW, I feel I was treated with the same level of attention, professionalism, and care that I would expect when purchasing a brand-new BMW. I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

Kelly Nissan review
Just purchased a 2025 Nissan Kicks from Kelly Nissan. Ivan Fandino was my salesperson. He was fabulous. Explained how everything works in the car and showed me how to do it all. Let me take it for a test drive. Overall pleased with my salesperson and the dealership and would recommend them to family and friends
2023 Subaru Outback review
I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

Subaru Evergreen Park review
If you’re in the market for a car, this is the location for you. Blanca Ceron and the team at this Evergreen location really take care of you. They listen to your needs and wants and patiently make recommendations that align with your priorities and lifestyle based on their knowledge and available financing. That’s exactly what they did this weekend when I visited. I came in undecided and left with a car I love at a price that I’m happy about. Every step of the way, Blanca made sure my best interests were kept in mind. I never felt pressured, just informed about my options. Thank you, Blanca and the EP Subaru team!

We purchased the Touring model. We absolutely love this car. 2022 was the first year the Touring model had cooling seats. Cooling seats should be a necessity for people with neurodegenerative disorders who have difficulty regulating their body temperature.

Auto House Motors review
I can’t express enough how truly grateful I am for Ahmed at Auto House in Downers Grove, Illinois! From the moment I started having issues with my first car, Ahmed showed incredible kindness, patience, and dedication. He didn’t just help — he genuinely cared about making things right and ensuring I was happy. He went the extra mile to get me into a beautiful BMW that I absolutely love, and made what could’ve been a stressful experience feel effortless and positive. It’s rare to find someone so honest, professional, and compassionate in the car business. Thank you, Ahmed, for treating me like family and turning a challenge into such a wonderful experience. I’m forever grateful and will always recommend you to everyone I know! 🙏🚘💙

2022 Subaru Outback review
I fell in love with the Wilderness Trim from the very first time i saw it. I had a 2017 Outback Limited and loved it too. Had a co-worker who really needed a reliable, well taken care of SUV. I told her I will sell it to her. With the money i got Wilderness. Best decision ever. Has that little extra ground clearance and details that makes this car so unique. Yes the screen is large and has a lot on it, but after a while got used to it. If the Outback was my dream car, This Wilderness is beyond my dreams! The Turbo is great, gives that extra +80HP compared to my Outback and it's noticeable specially when using paddle shifters. Hope i can keep this one for many many years.

Advantage Acura of Naperville review
We bought a used Hyundai couple of weeks ago. I think we got a good deal. The dealership was a good experience, specially compared to the other places we had been to. The sales person Christian Gonzales was extremely friendly, helpful and cooperative. His manager Renato Garcia was also a nice person to work with.
2025 Subaru Outback review
I'd say I'm brand-loyal to Subaru, given the ratings and history of the company and its emphasis on charitable contributions to animal and environmental causes, as well as my long time enjoyment of my former Subaru. So, when I needed to replace my 2008 Outback, my decision to upgrade to a new Outback was easy. As for the 2025, compared with the 2008, I am happy with the many "automated" features (like eyesight assisted braking and lane correction, adaptive cruise control, auto dimming brights, Auto Vehicle Hold, etc). Overall, I love the car. On the downside: I do not love the larger size. It feels like the seats and armrests were designed for a larger person than my 2008 Subie was (because the average body size of people had increased in recent years??}, and it's not an ideal fit for me. Also, the angled door armrests do not easily allow for actually resting my arm; it feels like I'm slipping off of it. I wish Subaru had not increased the size of the Outback, which now feels more like an SUV than a wagon. Maybe when I take my first car-camping trip, I'll appreciate the roomier interior.

Great experience at CarMax Wichita! We worked with Sales Consultant Vernon Nelson and he was kind and helpful throughout the entire process. We felt zero pressure from him, which was a stark contrast to another dealership we were working with who pressured us hard and had an attitude when we didn't buy on the spot. Vernon just wanted us to have the best car for us, regardless of whether or not that was from CarMax. They offered us a fair price on both the trade-in and the vehicle purchase itself as well, so no we'd have no hesitations recommending them to others.

2023 Subaru Outback review
2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.
