I was interested a pre-owned Acura that the Autobarn had for sale. I had discussed the car with one of the sales managers, Jonathan, on the phone the day before, and had done my research. I called the morning of our visit and spoke to Sam to arrange a test drive. When we arrived, our salesman Sam was waiting for us, and the car was prepped for our test drive. The car was as described on their website - no surprises. We decided to purchase the car. The whole process of negotiating a sales price and valuing our trade was really easy and smooth. We never felt the pressure that is common at car dealers. Their finance person Chris got us a really good rate on our loan, even making calls to people he knows at the various local banks. We are very happy with our experience at the Autobarn.
Claudia Zires was extremely helpful during the buying, financing, and general sales experience. We drove over 8 hours to get the car that suited me and everything was exactly as she said it was, no surprises, just a quick buying process. She even had our truck that we traveled in washed while we went over the financing options. I highly suggest anyone who is looking to buy a car to consider the Autobarn Mitsubishi of Evanston during their search.
In our first car-buying experience we worked with one of the salesmen at Grand, Andrew Jennings, who made the whole process a breeze. Working with Andrew felt like hanging out with your friend who just happens to sell and know a lot about cars. I woke up on 12/1/2018 in Minneapolis with a thought. I know the car my wife wants is at a dealership in Chicago. No dealership in Minnesota has exactly what we want. What if Grand Subaru has a fair price and the cost of a plane ticket is not too high either? I talked to Jeff Schade at Grand Subaru and told him I was from out of town. I am sure he put his best foot forward knowing that flying in that day and driving 7 hours and 400 miles back home needed a justified price/reason. He gave me a first price that was a great price and better than all the other shady car sales persons I had talked to in Minnesota. All I had to say was "okay. We are ready to do this." I then booked a one way flight on points out of MSP for 90 minutes later. Naturally I had some apprehensions about hopping on a one way flight and putting myself in a very week handed scenario with a car dealer. Jeff sent a Purchase Agreement and reassured me that he was being honest about the price. When I showed up, Jeff was a true man to his word. The transaction was exactly what was promised and I was on my way driving back to Minneapolis through a snow storm that a Subaru had no issues with!

Although it was a full day commitment at the end of the day I returned my leased car & renewed a new, smaller car that fit my needs better with the changes in my family (kids off to college). I???m happy with the new purchase & glad I was pretty seamlessly finished with my previous lease through ???pull forward??? option. At the same time I have many new safety features but maintained all of my ???premium??? package with Audi care and tire & rim program.
I was able to take my time looking and visited twice before finally deciding on the Outlander Phev. Both times I was greeted with friendly professionalism. Mike took time to help me understand all the features the car had and when I finally purchased the car a few days later, he went over them with me again to make sure I understood everything and had no questions left to ask. He connected my phone to the car so I can access everything through voice commands before we left and he even connected my daughter's phone so we can access her music. I'm not technically savvy so this was extremely helpful. I probably know more about the functions of this car than I do about my own smartphone thanks to Mike : ) He was incredibly patient and helpful.
It's really stressful for me to make such a large purchase but the staff at Max Madsen Mitsubishi Downers Grove (and the Outlander Phev) made this purchase go much easier. They were a pleasure to work with.
Was approached by Freddy when we came to the dealer. He was very friendly and enthusiastic. He was helpful and easy to deal with. Time spent at the dealer was shorter than I had anticipated for the purchase of a new vehicle. I absolutely love my 2019 Forester!!
Manny my new sales guy was amazing. He treated my wife and I like family. He made the options available to us so clean and concise. He explained every point and change in the car purchase to us. He left room for asking questions when we needed to do so. Manny was the best!! The finance guy was cool with explaining the details of how and what was needed to be done for the our new vehicle. It was a pleasure to work with him too.
I started with Andrea in the Internet Sales Dept, she got back to me quickly and with a great price. I showed up and worked with Bill Rhodes(2nd time I have purchased a car from him). He is an excellent salesman and you should ask for him. Overall a great and straight forward experience.
