    I own a 1998 Explorer 4dr with the pushrod 4.

    I own a 1998 Explorer 4dr with the pushrod 4.0L V6. she currently sits at 245k miles and i plan on restoring it and driving it everywhere. its seen me at highs and lows. it runs like crap but gets me from A to B. These second gen explorers don't have quitting in their vocabulary. I love my explorer and plan on driving it while i can.

    I bought.

    I bought. A 1999 ford explorer 4.0 sport. 4x4 5 speed. For 17 hundred dollars. The previous owner put 33 s big Nobby tires. As now the truck sits high it has a smooth ride and has. A lot of power for as old as it is ford tough .also has no rips on the original seats and also has light bar and side light led lights new clutch I'm very impressed with the performance I'm very happy with it .

    BEST SUV IN THE HISTORY OF ALL SUV'S (1999)

    Two tone black/gold. tan leather seats, I mean it is a fully loaded - Eddie Baur explorer. I have owned it since day one. I have it still to this day!!!!! It has been so good to me and my daughter. It was used in a movie (mexican banditos with machine guns, shooting at the border patrol)! We drove it EVERYWHERE in the USA, I am talking DISTANCES, from Los Angeles, to Las Vegas, to Nashville, Florida, to El Paso, to California AGAIN! I lived in the Canyons and we drove it to Malibu beach regularly. I will NEVER PART WITH IT! Someone Uber Driver not paying attention t-boned me yesterday on the drivers side passenger door behind driver seat. It stood up to it is driveable and only has side door damage and body above rear tire. I am going to have to fight the other guy's insurance company not to total my vehicle out. I was restoring it little by little. It has been our good luck vehicle! I haven't had a car payment in 25 years. Jessie Monster

    I luv my 99 sport

    Bought a 99 sport 2dr 4X4 brand new in Feb of 99. Only minor problem is now the electric door locks are sticking, no biggie. Replaced Firestone with Michelins, changed shocks to Monroe, k&n cold air kit, faithfully changed oil every 2500-3000 miles. It's never let me down.

    Best comfortable seats and happy with it

    I got this car from my mom’s friends house 3 months ago now who left it to me after she sadly passed away almost 7 months ago now and I know she’ll always look down and saying that she’s proud of me.

    Excellent sub for what I paid!

    I bought my explorer xlt 5.0 four and a half years ago for $400 as a get by vehicle. While I've had to do the spring shackles, known weak pont on Ford's, a radiator and suspension it still has issues. But it's still going strong with 209,000 miles!!!

    This thing is great,415,000+ miles!

    I drive 30-40,000 miles per year.This suv lacks power but is super reliable and will not die.If you can find one with a clean body go for it!

    solid car reason i`m selling it is i`m going blind

    this car is 20 yrs old and has only 10010 thousandd miles on it. it does`nt use any oil. i keep this car up and in good shape.. i just had upper and lower ball joints, heavy duty shock absorbers, new spark plugs and new plug wires, and a new six pack. it also has new tires.

    Wish I had the money

    10/10 ran great tons of room enjoyed every minute . Wish I could afford an extra vehicle like this suv . Low mileage can tell it was taken very good care if by previous owner

    I love these things. Had 3. After almost 20yrs

    Dang thing still running great. Being a sport,rides like the truck that it is. Tough, dependable and cheap. Love Clara, best beat up old truck I've ever had.
