2025 BMW X1 review
Vehicle is a strong performer (no surprise here given its "M" designation. No disapointments in that regard. Sport seats are very supportive; especially with the lumbar support adjustability. Cabin tech is abysmal though. Not at all intuitive; functions nested down menus where you would never expect them. Owners manual is 480 pages! Really ! While the vehicle makes me smile quite often the complexity of the cabin tech has me cursing every time I start the vehicle. The so-called "Genius" program help line only works Mon. - Fri. Central time in the US! Not too happy about that either.

We bought an 2021 F-150 from them. I then went out west to work on a wildfire and, on the way home, the truck died. Originally, I wrote a pretty scathing review of AutoNation Panama City. But, in spite of it all, they have been absolutely amazing. Not only have they been working with the dealership in Utah where the truck is currently being worked on, the leadership at AutoNation has been regularly keeping us informed and went out of their way to make a way for us to get home to Panama City from Utah even though the truck is still being worked on. It's a warranty thing and no fault of AutoNation. They have been nothing but caring and respectful to both me and my wife. I don't know if I will ever buy a Ford again, but I will most definitely buy from AutoNation PC again. I can't say enough about how the folks at AutoNation PC have truly earned my respect through their commitment to taking care of customers, even when that customer hasn't been the most pleasant human being.
2021 BMW X1 review
The first thing one notices is the quietness of the ride. After that, the handling - surefooted and solid. Love the extensive sunroof. Only owned the car a short while, so hard to comment on value for the money, but loving the easy acceleration of this car and the smooth handling around curves. I wanted a smaller vehicle since usually just me, but one that can handle winter driving and steep hills. The X1 more than fits that bill.

2021 BMW X1 review
I couldn't be happier with this vehicle. It was made for ME! Its height makes it easy and painless to enter and exit the driver's seat with my arthritic knees....I just slide in & out in nicely! The "head up" feature is very helpful every day. Those are the best headlights ever for night driving. No complaints from this customer-in her 3rd X!

I pulled into the Service area, got out of the car and was greeted by Alex. He was very welcoming, and directed me to the lounge where they had complimentary coffee from a self serve state of the art coffee and espresso machine. He explained that Julisa would be coming to get me to get me checked in. Julisa is extremely personable and welcoming. She gave me the red carpet treatment from start to finish as well! After she checked me in she told me that if I wanted to go somewhere while my car was being worked on, they have a complimentary shuttle service that will take me anywhere within 5 miles. I thought that was a really nice service, and Alex drove me to the mall! Alex and I had nice a such a nice conversation and he is a very ambitious young man! When my car was ready Alex came and picked me up and took me back. Julisa went over everything with me in detail and was very thorough with explaining recommendations. She never pressured me to have the services done. They did a free bumper to bumper inspection with the service. Lupo the mechanic came to talk with me about what he recommends and was very kind and knowledgable. He also physically showed me the things he recommended. They washed my car, filled up all my fluids and checked the air filter and tires! All at no charge! I highly recommend having serviced done with them!

2024 BMW X1 review
The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

2018 BMW X1 review
2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.

Friendly, helpful people from the start. They reached out, scheduled a test drive quickly and I wound up buying the car. The experience felt mildly 'sales-y' but not nearly what I have felt in the past. They let me know my options, worked to get to the number I was comfortable with and did not try to oversell the options at the end. My only complaint is they could have been the first to point out the minor damages to the windshield but for I noticed them during the test drive but it was clearly in the Carfax report they provided. Overall a good experience.

2025 BMW X1 review
Car delivers more than I expected. Two must have options are Technology Package and Driver Assistance Plus - that combination is hard to find. Sport seats are very comfortable. Lack of knobs and buttons is an issue - miss them. There is a huge learning curve transitioning to a touch screen. You must absolutely make use of the BMW "Genius" service. Highway MPG exceeds advertised value.

2021 BMW X1 review
So far, my wife, for whom I bought the car, is extremely happy. It is too soon to judge the overall reliability of the vehicle, since we bought it only yesterday. But the car has the sport and premium pkges, so is fully loaded, with beautiful mocha leather seats and trim: a very elegant interior and I love the "heads-up" display.
