I would have had a good experience with the car if it wasn't $200/year in maintenance. I've had it going on three years and have replaced the battery so far cuz I like to sit in the parking lot on breaks at work. It's not a bad car and the battery replacement was necessary because how else am I going to get the thing going. Great car. Don't expect much in power and even when you're riding solo you misguide the rpm of other SUV's with higher HP. You can guarantee in your city you can't find a better car. Just bought this 2011 Aveo5 used. My other vehicle is a Ram 1500 with a hemi so my reason was fuel mileage but you would think going back and forth using the truck only when I need 4x4 or cargo that this would seem small and crappy, wrong, I love this car, the 5 speed standard makes it fun to drive and the interior is very comfortable for me, even on a couple hour road trip. I'm a truck technician and hate technology and gadgets, this thing has crank windows, manual locks, no cruise and no A/C, this stuff will always fail so I don't have to worry about it. It has 117,00 km on it and it works great. I now use this as my main transportation and leave the Ram home until needed. Love this car, a 10 all the way.

This was the first car I had ever bought new, I've kept it. It was my main driver for about 7 years in all weather conditions. The only issues I've had with it was the O2 sensors/MAF sensor, the window motors (they're terrible) and a trans issue. Overall I think i sunk about 4500.00 in repairs over 16 years...until I stored it in 2015ish, after that well it takes a lot to get em going again which I did...but I do have 127,000 on it and the motor is perfect. its a fun car and now it's pretty avg for speed though back in the day best bang for the buck out there.

I’ve got 110,045 miles on a 2014 Cruze. Up until a month ago it has needed 4 tires, a battery, and a water pump. Recently the engine surged. Sometimes slightly. Sometimes too often. Dealer repaired this problem and a leaking oil pan for $1300. Runs like new!! Car looks and runs great. I do get free oil changes every 5000 miles.

I got the eco version. Fuel economy is great and handling is responsive. The slick shifting 6 speed manual is a fun challenge. seats are very comfy.

Got 104k miles . Did the recall with the power steering. Oil change 2x a year. Just a great car for me. Someone with skinny arms can change the headlight without taking off the whole front.
