2026 Honda HR-V review
Previous ownership of Honda vehicles because of their reliability. It' the number reason for this purchase. The HR-V is perfect for my wife and I as it's affordable to operate and maintain, comfortable size wise, simplistic in its design and features. So many vehicles just have too many electronic extras that just are not needed or even used. Love the clean design and fit and finish of the interior components, dash, panels, trim and seats etc. It's Honda reliability, a nice car for the price.

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

2018 Honda HR-V review
I bought my 2018 Honda HRV new with only 53 miles on it and while I was very hesitant initially to get a new car (because depreciation) it was definitely the best decision for me. The car is comfortable to drive, gets great gas mileage, and has been very relatable over the last 5 years. I’ve put new tires on and changed the oil and standard maintenance items. The absolute worst thing I can say is I wish it wasn’t manual seat adjustments, I have the base model.

2017 Honda HR-V review
I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

Which means I also interacted with a lot of different salespeople. So when I say Brandon was the best salesperson I worked with, I don't say that lightly. Hands down, he stood out from everyone else. He was on top of everything from the beginning - responsive, organized, knowledgeable, and always followed through on what he said he would do. What I appreciated most was that he never made me feel pressured or rushed. He was available when I had questions, but never did the stereotypical pushy salesperson routine that makes car shopping so exhausting. Most importantly, he came across as a genuinely nice person. Honest, respectful, patient, and easy to talk to. Buying a car can be stressful, but working with him was refreshingly straightforward. If you're an introvert who dreads buying a car because it means interacting with a bunch of new people, Brandon is really good at reading the room and making you feel comfortable. If you're an extrovert, the same applies. He has a way of meeting people where they are and making them feel welcome without ever seeming fake or over-the-top. Out of all the dealerships I visited and all the salespeople I dealt with during my search, Brandon stood out by a mile. He made the entire experience feel easy and low-pressure, and I always felt like he was focused on helping me find the right car rather than just making a sale. I don't usually write reviews, so the fact that I'm taking the time to write one should tell you how positive this experience was. The rest of the team at Herb Gordon was great too, which only reinforced the positive impression Brandon made from the start. If you're looking for someone who will treat you with respect, listen to what you want, and make the car-buying process as painless as possible, I highly recommend working with Brandon.
2024 Honda HR-V review
Love how car handles. The HRV is wonderful on traveling bc I have arthritis and it was a pleasure to drive on long trips. It’s smooth riding and an attractive car. It is easier to get into than the CRV bc I am short (5’2) so I had to climb up into CRV but not HRV.

2022 Honda HR-V review
Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

(And, yes, we were just going to do a test drive, but we fell in love with the way it felt to drive the CR-V) We were also really happy with the financing.
2021 Honda HR-V review
I chose the HR-V because it was small enough to fit down my driveway but was still an suv. The car is great but it doesn't have the features of my RAV-4. However, the new car, in the Sport model, has the updated features I wanted including navigation/Apple Car Play/Android Auto. The add ons by the dealer were not worth it and were ridiculously expensive.

Nick & Dezmond are truly the best!!!!!! Go see them if you are considering purchasing a SUV. I first contacted this dealership Tuesday, 6/30, and I was lucky to get Nick. Although, I loved the vehicle, I was hesitant due to price and the dealership being over an hour away. I did an application over the phone and within an hour Dezmond had an approval. I still wasn't comfortable with the payments. Nick DID NOT let me say it again DID NOT put any pressure on me when I declined. Fast forward to Friday Nick called me back, and advised me Dezmond was able to get me a better rate. This rate would keep my payments the same with Gap and extended warranty included. I made the drive and I was not disappointed. Nick is very knowledgeable and patient. He explained the details of the car, my contract and answered ALL my questions. Nick and Dezmond both was very personable and made me very comfortable. Never did I feel pressured or bamboozled. They were more than fair. Gave me adequate money for my trade and provided exemplary service. This whole experience was 1000/10. An although and hour away, these two are the only ones I want to purchase a vehicle from. Going forward they have all of my referrals. Ourisman please give these guys their kudos. PLEASE acknowledge them. They truly had a pleasant experience. AND best of all, after the test drive ans I officially said, YES, to the vehicle the process was less than an hr. Prior to coming to this dealership, I visited several others including, Mercedes and Landrover, this by far was my best experience. Ourisman again, please give them a bonus, I'm a hard customer. They make you be and look GREAT!!!! And anyone who needs a vehicle, please go see Nick and Dezmond.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

This is a perfect car for me (80 yrs old, 5’1”) it is easy to get in and out, and I sit far enough from the steering wheel so I can drive with my arms in a much more comfortable position than in my 2009 Honda Civic I had before

2022 Honda HR-V review
The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

2018 Honda HR-V review
Nice little car. But.,,I have an oil leak at 32,000 miles. Not good. Otherwise perfect for me. Just wish Honda would start making cars with color. Always silver, white, black. Blah.
