My salesperson was Walter on Dec. 28, 2017. I knew I wanted to buy a new Buick LaCrosse, but my 2011 trade-in was parked in our driveway needing engine work, and filled with paperwork, soft drinks in cans and bottles, shoes, clothing and family treasures - as I had spent significant time cleaning out my late brother's condominium. He had passed away suddenly and quite recently, and I was still feeling grief and stress. I thought I'd have to keep driving my rental car until I had time to clean out the car, or at least until the frigid weather had passed. But as Walter attentively listened to my predicament, he said he would gladly help me clean out the car, allowing me to drive it to the dealership and offer it as a trade-in.
He was true to his word : He arrived the next morning, when the temperature was in the single digits, and happily worked and worked, while my gloved fingers and toes were getting numb, and I'm certain his were, too. I soon brought out coffee for us, and Walter began to jump the car's battery. He tried again and again, very patiently, to persuade the engine to turn over. After about half an hour of trying, he succeeded in starting the engine. Thus, I was able to drive the car to the dealership, with Walter following in his vehicle, to ensure that I made it safely.
Once at Napleton’s Schaumburg Buick GMC, he proceeded to gather paperwork together to complete the sale of a new Buick LaCrosse!
