2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2020 Ford Explorer review
I currently own a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT (used, bought with 50k miles). Before this I used to own a 2015 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. Now people reading this would be astounded to hear such a bad review for a german luxury vehicle. IT. WAS. TRASH. Sorry, BMW fanboys, but that is true. Anyways, coming back to the Explorer, it was a lot, lot better. Better mileage, Better comfort, A ton of space to even pack up to 5 large suitcases and five big boxes with only the third row down. Considerable performance and power for a massive three row SUV, compared to a “apocalypse ready, tough and rugged” Jeep Wrangler. Very sturdy car, fun to drive around. And really handy when you’re like me who decided to hit the road from Miami, FL to Cypress, TX (😁). I was worried whether evreything would fit in, but apparently there was way more space than that! Also if you are a parent with an infant, you will have NO problem fitting in a child seat. Another thing is that I use an iPhone and my wife uses a Samsung. It is compatible with both carplay and android auto. Now the best part: this is the most stylish SUV under $30k I have ever seen except for a Jeep Grand Cherowkee. My final verdict: The best, affordable, 6-7 seater SUV you can get on the auto market. And I am saying this not only from a driver-standpoint, but a parent as well. I have read other people’s reviews, and some will disagree with me. But after all, it is an automobile. Whether it be a million dollar Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti or a Ford, it is still developing. I am proud of what Ford can do. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a reliable and safe car, buy a Ford. They are incredible.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

The facilities and the people are great! The real star of the show there is their finance manager Jess Schad! I have never had such a great car buying experience, and it’s all thanks to her. She made everything easy and PERFECT! Jess went completely above and beyond in customer service throughout the entire process. I was blown away by her personalized attention at every step. She made both the shopping and the actual purchase not just seamless, but actually enjoyable (I normally dread it)! My uncle is a car-buying and financial guru, and came with me to pick up the car. He said in all of his decades of car buying he hadn’t seen such great service. 2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2025 Ford Explorer review
This Explorer replaces a 2017 I loved. That car is still in the family. The Platinum Edition is fabulous, lots of bells and whistles. I choose to turn off the lane management system. It is somewhat aggravating. The automatic on off at stoplights can be irritating when you have a lot of stoplights. I will turn this feature off when I’m in traffic at a lot of lights. Otherwise, I keep it on. There is a great deal of new technology on the vehicle which is located on the center screen. It was not hard to learn, and although I’ve had this vehicle for a month I’m still learning a few things. This vehicle is a six seater with heated and ventilated seats. The back windows have screens, which is great when your transporting little children and anyone else the seats also have an automatic fold. This car will move quickly great pick up and even with a new car around town, I’m getting 20 1/half miles per gallon on regular gas. Although being a six seater, it is not too big. I had looked at a jeep which ran a good $13,000 more for the same features. The new body style on the Jeep was not appealing to a family member so we stuck with the Ford.

I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

With all my gear, my son and my service dog I approached the service manager with my problem. He was extremely professional and offered to take a look, but could not promise work, as they were already booked for the day. After taking a look, they found the issue was a recall concern and covered all the repair on their dime. Best of all, they did the work that day and had me back on my way in 5 hours, thus saving me hotel bills and added stress. Throughout the repair, I was informed of progress and treated like a VIP. In addition, their spaces were organized and extremely clean of debris and clutter. I have never had such service in any dealership in all the 45 years I’ve been driving. Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

2025 Ford Explorer review
Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped
